Set in the very centre of Châlons-en-Champagne, this 2-star hotel is just 200 metres from the Jards Gardens. You can relax in The Red Fish bar and sample a glass of champagne or a home-made cocktail.

Clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable
The lounge area was superb, the bedroom very nice.
We were not able to get into the hotel till six pm which I did not like very much.
Hello, Very quiet, clean and pretty comfortable place. The staff was very helpful. David
Wonderful hosts, great breakfast, close to A4, very quiet
The big, black truck blocking the view from the nice terrace onto the beautiful gardens
Comfortable bed, great bathroom, very clean. Peaceful location.
Simple B&B in countryside setting. Very sweet owner, helped us find a great place to have dinner. Tastefully decorated.
Don't arrive before 6pm as no one in, that being said there were guest there smoking inside in the common part of the house which seemed a real shame and very unusual in this day and age. The B&B is in a hamlet with no facilities in walking distance. Nearest place to eat is about a 12 min drive. There was a plastic(!) sheet under our sheet which on a hot evening was horrendous, please think again on this score. Also no mosquito guards at the window so we got bitten to death as there is no air con. Finding the foreign channels were a joke on the tv.
I really liked my room, spotless, nice decoration and very nice and large bathroom. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. This B&B opened about a year ago, and so everything is new and in perfect condition. I loved my stay here, it was so relaxing. Very, very quiet. The village is totally serene at night. I was too tired on my arrival evening to go to dinner, and so the lady of the house fixed a cold plate for me which was excellent and a very good value. I enjoyed some of the local wine with my cold dinner, it was perfect, and I had it in the garden. The hosts joined me at my invitation and we had a nice conversation. I would come back to this location with no hesitation.
I only stayed one night!
The proprietors, Martine and Jean Claude were a credit to the tourism industry and they were delightful and welcoming hosts. If you can convey the enjoyment of our stay, I would be most grateful. John and Vikki Sangster Bray. Berkshire. U.K.
Nothing to dislike, everything was superb
It was outstanding a credit to the owners, excellent hosts five star i would give them, if your in France then i highly recommend to stay here you would not be disapointed.
The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice too with a super bath.
The UK TV was very good but it took a little while to work out. The shower was fed from the bath which was fine but there wasn't a curtain or glass door to keep water from going on the floor.
The whole ambience lends to a comfortable holiday location/stay over. Building typical of France. The house is in lovely condition and it is a reflection of the care and thought that the owners put into delivering your stay. Every aspect was a delight to the eye and in excellent, working order. We highly recommend the Le Marsonnet for comfort, style, quality, location and REAL value for money. Well done the owners.
NOTHING to dislike.
Excellent hosts! Made us very welcome.
very well maintained , well thought out and absolutely spotless . excellent breakfast and very helpful owner
A hidden gem. Staff members were extremely kind. We arrived quite late and she asked if we ate, and helped us to book a cozy French restaurant somewhere nearby. Usually they serve breakfast after 8AM but as we had to leave early, they got up early for us to prepare breakfast before 7AM.
Quiet. Simple. No fuss
The host was very welcoming and helpful. The lovely touch of fresh flowers in the room - made a nice change from all the fakery that seems so common in hotel rooms in France.
Very friendly welcome and strong 'sense of place'. Great stopping off point after the ferry/ tunnel. Good breakfast.
No eating out options in the village itself so 12 mile round trip needed for dinner in Chalons-en-Champagne. Recommended restaurant (Petit Pasteur) had very slow service
A warm and friendly welcome. The quality of the room. The breakfast. The peace and tranquility of the area.
Lovely new rooms, it was very quiet, breakfast was great.
Checkin process failed - we had to wait 40 minutes outside the front of the property with small children before the owner arrived - a bad start. Miles away from any restaurant or food - you have to drive.
immaculate small hotel /gite with v. friendly hosts. A few niggles but would certainly visit again.
hotel did not have aircon in the rooms ( upstairs ( which were very warm)only in reception/bar downstairs. Luxury spa bath had no proper shower
The owners were very welcoming.
Nothing to do around the area unless you drive.
We had a very warm welcome from the couple who owned the guest-house and they could not do enough for us. They were warm and convivial and the rooms were perfect for a family - very clean, charming and comfortable.
