Le Mas Des Aigras  

Alain and Sylvie were very helpful and welcoming, and it was great that Sylvie could speak English, as well as one or two of the kitchen staff. A lot of thought has gone into the decoration of the hotel, and comfort of guests, including a very nicely appointed and roomy ensuite bathroom. Our comfy attic room overlooked the lovely garden. The owners are aware that noise from the restaurant situated downstairs could disturb people in rooms upstairs, and have installed glass soundproofing in the stairwell to prevent that from happening. The restaurant seems very popular and for good reason - it provides lovely food and wines, beautifully served, and it takes most of the evening to eat the well- priced and delicious set menu.

This was one of the best places we stayed in during our 4 weeks in France. MInor improvements we would suggest are the provision of one or two quick snack meals on the restaurant menu, to save guests from having to drive 10 mins or so into town. Although there is one (very delicious) vegetarian main course option, it would be good to have a couple of salads to choose from. It would also be good if there were tea/coffee- making facilities available for guests to use.

Excellent restaurant serving quality food and wines at reasonable prices. Quiet location with easy access (by car) to the centre of Orange. Good pool. Very pleasant outdoor sitting and eating areas.

Rooms on the small side and without tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfasts pricey for what they were. The whole place looked a bit tired and in need of a spruce-up

The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent - good choice for breakfast and all food well presented. Evening meals, although a bit expensive, were very good quality. Attention to detail was evident throughout. A lovely atmosphere had been created in the dining room / terrasse. The hotel was well situated to explore Orange and surrounding area.

Not too well signposted - a bit difficult to find if approaching from one direction

Very nice place near the city. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant (it have Michelin rating)!

Vriendelijke ontvangst

Fantastisk service - meget meget venligt personale. Hyggelige meget rene værelser. Super morgenmad, bedste nogen sinde i Frankrig. Dejlig have og mulighed for at spise ude. Tæt på Orange og alle de gode vinområder (Rhone vine).

Der duftede meget stærkt af parfumerede (grannåle) rengøringsmiddler, da vi kom. Det ville nok være lidt stærk kost for mennesker med allergi. Vi luftede ud og så var den klaret.

La table est excellente ! Les produits sont frais, bio pour la plus part et très bien mis en œuvre par un chef créatif maitrisant sont art. Le service est très attentionné et toujours de bon conseil. La situation du Mas des Aigras / Table du verger permet de rayonner au sein des vignobles de Côtes du Rhône sans être exagérément loin de la A7. A recommander pour qui veut visiter la région.

Toutes les chambres de même catégorie ne se valent pas : certaines ont été rénovées récemment, d'autres accusent un peu le poids des ans (Chêne). Le jardin et la terrasse sont actuellement en pleine rénovation (avril 2012) et donc inutilisable lors de notre passage.Nous n'avons pas pu évaluer la piscine extérieure, celle-ci étant fermée.

Ontvangst was hartelijk, het restaurant was prima, gezellig ingericht, de kamer is netjes, prima bed, de omgeving was heerlijk rustig om te wandelen. Prima hotel voor een overnachting op weg van Spanje naar huis. Zomers zal het prima vertoeven zijn in de tuin.

Wifi werkte niet in de kamer, kamers wel wat gehorig, als de tussendeur bij de trap niet werd dichtgedaan door andere gasten hoorde men alles wat er beneden in het restaurant gedaan werd, maar 's nachts was het rustig.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet établissement, Le patron de cet hôtel donne tout son savoir, et il est excellent. Malgré notre arrivée tardive à l'hôtel, le patron nous a concocté un de ses merveilleux menus. Le repas était excellent et préparé avec beaucoup de goût. Nous recommandons cet établissement aussi bien pour ses menus que pour ses chambres qui sont très acceuillantes. Nous y reviendrons.

Sehr nette junge Wirtsleute, ruhige Lage, romanisches Haus und excellente Küche.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: es ist trotz Routenplaner etwas schwer zu finden.
