- Everything clean - Check-In worked well without personnel present - Furniture very much o.k.
- Cheap feeling regarding building; thin white-washed papered-over walls; - Broken items in shower - Cramped appartment; son had to sleep on the sofa
The hotel is very close to the old town centre and is quiet, comfortable and clean. Perfect for a short stay.
The apartment was well designed and airy with everything working! Thank God for air con. Everywhere was immaculate and the additional underground parking made the whole experience easier. Watching the Bastille Night fireworks from the balcony was an added bonus. Within minutes of the main thoroughfare of this little Duchy, you are in the heart of beautiful little town.
Much more than we expected. 2 minute walk into the centre of Uzes with secure underground parking. The apartment had a shower room and bathroom, with the bunk beds situated in a small room rather than an alcove. The balcony was large with seating to enjoy a relaxing drink . The air conditioning was a real bonus as was the swimming pool and outside space to sunbathe. The only negative I have is that it would have been nice to have been able to use the pool before 10am. Would highly recommend these apartments.
Swimming pool not open for a early morning swim. To many positives for this to affect your stay.
Uzés is beautiful!
This is really a residence for longer stays, however it was not nice even for one night only: dated and very used. We booked for 4 but there were only sheets and towels ready for 2. We could not ask for more as reception closes at 20:00 and we arrived at about that time. The biggest surprise was the town itself: amazing.
Very close to the old town. Ideally situated to explore the historical sites in the area Example Nimes , Pont du Gard and many more. Underground parking facilities included.
Cramped space. Would not recommend 4 people in a one bedroomed flat.
Like hotel in that there is a reception desk. Microwave, air conditioner. Staff's English only fair but generally helpful. Quiet when we visited but they do accept groups of college students. Probably a better value than in Avignon but you need a car.
Broken elevator. Basement parking tests your concrete avoidance skills. Paid separately for beds for children. No map to grocery stores (verbal English explanations inadequate).
Staff not available during the day. Lack of internet wifi did not work even in foyer
Close to town centre. Fairly quiet (our apartment faced away from the main road). Swimming pool.
Lack of wifi in rooms meant we had to keep running downstairs to the foyer.
The location is great. Also secure underground parking with lift access to the rooms.
The rooms were not cleaned very well at all. The floors were sticky and dirty, your feet would turn black after a short time. The shower had not been cleaned and was full of sand and hair.
Location was great in Uzes. Short walk to town's main square and street. Uzes is a beautiful town.
Room was clean, but elevator dirty and dog poop on sidewalk near front door never was cleaned in 3 days. AC worked but not able to keep up with hottest days
just a few steps away from the charming city center
the neighborhood highly urbanized
Location in relation to town and driving into the country. Garage parking a real bonus. Swimming pool excellent. Nice balcony but unfortunately too windy to use it.Comfortable and also elevator from garage to apatment floor.
Even for a 3 day stay, there was no provision of any cleaning, dish washer or dish cleaning/drying equipment or supplies. China in short supply as only two cups but the apartment was advertised as catering for 4 people.
This place was very clean, easy access to the old town of Uzes and the room was lovely with a balcony, swimming pool and kitchen facilities. There was a carpark provided which was a great help and a washing machine and dryer available for only 2eur in the basement.
Don't expect "Quaint French" accommodation. It's not a negative as it had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay here.
Good well priced accommodation, close to the centre of this beautiful little town. Apartment was a good size, and well equipped, nice quiet residential area, literally two minutes from the old part of Uzes.
Ideally, it would have been great if the receptionist spoke more English, but I didn't really expect it, from a smallish place deep in France, and it didn't give me any problems.
Free parking, location and room size is great.
Keys were left for us and this was sensibly communicated by email. Not too far from old town.
Place was closed on the weekend, so no human contact. Toilet did not flush, but there was no-one to fix it. No emergency number. Wifi only worked downstairs in the 'lobby'. Corridors smelled.
Proximity to Uzes and relatively cheap
Numerous issues, including very poor supplies in kitchen (e.g no plug for sink, very limited cooking items etc); shower rose attached to bath rather than on the wall so you need to shower one handed; the apartment is very, very small; room rate doesn't include extras such as bizarrely bed sheets and bathroom towels, use of tv etc etc. would not recommend... Spend a bit more or stay a few days less and choose somewhere decent and much more comfortable in the lovely village of Uzes.
It was a late booking... That morning, for a family of 6, we arrived after 8pm... The apartment was ideal, very comfortable, & well equipped to prepare a meal with ingredients from the supermarket around the corner for some very hungry tired travellers.
Location, few minutes walk to centre, and parking provided. Bed comfortable; apartment was well planned and functional. Quiet room and liked the peaceful view of trees. Staff friendly and helpful.
Shame indoor swimming pool is closed in winter - a warm swim would have been lovely. Need to bring tea towel and detergent. Office opening times restricted.
The apartment was spacious and well set out with all you needed for a few days of self catering. Underground parking was great, was about half a km out of the city centre which was also good, a bit quieter.
There really wasn't anyone one reception except for the occasional half an hour or so. Not a real problem unless something went wrong. WIFI only in the lobby was a little inconvenient.
Loocation to Uzes
No staff available - key left in mail box. No information in room.
Excellent accom. safe and easy parking for hire car. Loved Uzes. It was one of the most relaxing places we visited, great food and the old city was amazing, lots of happy hours wandering the area. Great to have the convenience of washing machine and iron, as we had been using l/mats and going for the 'crushed look' for a couple of weeks.
Great to have a properly equipped kitchenette, a good bathroom, a terrace, a lift. We did not try to use the swimming pool. This would have been a good apartment for a family, because it was so roomy and well-equipped.
Reception hours were different from those given by Booking.com and therefore required various phonecalls when we got there, and assistance from other people, as reception bell did not work. Huge complex, took us a while on arrival to find reception. Wifi only in reception area, which was deserted at night and where, if you sat quietly using your computer, the lights would go out on you which was somewhat creepy to say the least. Complex somewhat barn like and basic inside the corridors, probably fairly empty because of the time of year.
Good size, close to town, good parking.
