The table and the easy chairs are on the terrace and it was very windy (the mistral), cold, with a few sprinkles the evening we arrived. We picnicked outside anyway then sat inside on upright chairs where we could look out the windows.
What looked like the primary road up to the hotel was extremely narrow. The road from Joucas was a bit wider with nice clear white lines to mark the edges.
Tasteful room with a private terrace. Beautiful view over lovely grounds and across the valley to mountains. Excellent breakfast on terrace or indoors looking over the terrace. We didn't buy the available dinner. Beautiful, understated landscaping with woods, meadow flowers, secuded pool. The staff recommended a lovely (uphill) walk on a little used private road through woods and orchards. It's an easy drive to Gordes, the Abbaye de Senanque and other attractions.
