Excellent experience, incredible personal attention to detail! Great location with a short drive to all places we wanted to see. Very good breakfast. This is a family-run b&b, if you like an informal, cosy atmosphere, don't miss this place!

Charming old farm, lovingly cared for by Jean-Paul and his family. Traditional Provencal style, much of the furniture gathered from the family over the years. Jean-Paul is a great hopst who cares about his guests. Provided amazing routes around the local countryside which we would never have found otherwise. Very comfortable bed. Amazing breakfasts taken round the large family dining table with great local produce. What is there not to like?

One of the absolutely most special places we've stayed. Jean Paul, the host, and his family were delightful, hospitable, and we felt we had known them for a long while. I will recommend Le Mas Ferrand to everyone!

Definitely what we liked the most in Le Mas Ferrand was Mr. Ferrand himself! :-) Jean Paul Ferrand is the perfect host! He is really a special person, in love with life and people. He makes you to feel as if you were at your own home in Provence! This is the exact description about our time in the peacefull place Le Mas Ferrand. It was our home in Provence! We were hosted in the Magnolia, the loft Jean Paul built in the “garden” and it is very comfortable, nice and specially decorated by himself that is also a man of arts. Everything in the loft is perfect! The breakfast is something odd!! It takes place inside Jean Paul´s house in a big table where all the guests hosted in the “Mas” and his family sit together for an amazing breakfast with typical food from the region. We loved those moments!! We met really nice people during the event of the breakfast and we also spent hours talking with everybody in the mornings. Jean Paul takes this opportunity to give awesome hints about places, routes and restaurants to visit during your time in Provence. We really hope to get back there someday. The short time we stayed there. :-(

We loved our stay at this old farmhouse in the village of Graveson. Not the cutest Provence village but friendly & a great location for driving to different parts of Provence. The owner Jean Paul was fantastic. Warm, welcoming and generous, he makes a stay at the Le Mas Ferrand a unique experience. He proved to be an excellent guide to the area, providing maps & directions to the best spots in Provence via the most interesting roads. He definitely made our week long holiday special (and his family was great too). A tasty breakfast around a big farmhouse table gave a great opportunity to chat to fellow travellers & holiday makers. The garden offers a relaxing hideaway (when it's not windy as it was in Oct). Although the farmhouse is old, the bedroom felt beautifully clean and the lights and bathroom all up-to-date and the decor/bed linen all lovely. We also had plenty space for four adults in the Marguerite suite. Definitely recommended for a more friendly and genuine stay in this lovely part of France. No seating area in our suite (or in the farmhouse, except outside) but only a minor niggle and not necessarily to be expected anyway.

We highly recommend - very warmly welcomed with glass of wine, comfortable room and delicious breakfast. Owner is a mine of information who kindly acted as chauffeur to a restaurant when we asked where we could buy a good meal at a reasonable price. Payment for this service was refused. Will go again.

We stayed for three nights at the Mas Ferrand and left regretting we had not booked for the rest of the holiday, This is a wonderful place to stay and Jean-Paul is an incredible host. We stayed in one of the two, new, self contained lofts which were spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with a full kitchen so you could choose to eat out or in. Breakfast was generous and convivial, seated around large tables discussing places of interest to visit. When we asked for suggestions on where to eat Jean-Paul asked about our likes, then pulled out his phone and made the booking for us on the spot. He also inquired about where we intended to go each day and provided us with maps highlighting smaller more scenic routes and less crowded places of interest along the way. Leaving after only three days.

We had a fabulous time during our stay in Le Mas Ferrand. It was a great base to explore the surrounding areas of Provence. Our host, Jean Paul, was extremely helpful, and helped us to plan our itinerary for each day, recommending beautiful scenic routes, small restaurants, and the best places to try wine and olive oil tasting. The house is located in a small village, and each evening we got to sit outside, drinking some local wine, and getting to know the other guests staying. Overall it was a wonderful experience. One of the friendliest places we have experienced in our travels in France.

Here are the main reasons we liked the hotel: - the information that was provided on the region - the size and comfort of the room - being able to sit outside by the garden from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. - sitting with other guests in the morning and plan your daily trips - access to a fridge

Perfect location to visit Provence. The owner and his family are very friendly and fantastic hosts. They made our stay unforgettable. Never experienced anything like this! Jean-Paul is unbelievably generous. He offers lavish breakfasts in the morning and delicious wines in the evening. He also gives excellent information on the most beautiful routes and places to visit. Don't miss this place - it is true magic!

I felt as if I were visiting family members and staying in their house. Le Mas Ferrand does not have the feel of a hotel, but of a home. The breakfast is a feast, the room large, clean and bathrooms exquisite. The garden setting offers quiet and tranquillity. Le Mas is a peaceful haven from which to set off on visits to nearby towns.

Jean paul ferrand, the owner is a true star, and made our holiday special,he was very attentive and friendly, and likes to sing a lot, and was not slow with the wine either, but he and his family welcomed us into their world as if we had always known them. Our apartment was truly lovely and allowed us to be "at home" while we were there,to enjoy the garden and the sun .We will return to jean paul as soon as we possibly can to enjoy the atmosphere again, and to stay with such lovely people. Having to leave !!

A nice little hotel with only 5 rooms in a small village. Our guest was very friendly and we had an excellent time there. The hotel is in a small village near most of the interesting cities and places in Provence, an excellent starting point for trips in the region. A charming garden full of flowers + delicious breakfasts even improve the experience. You only have the chance to eat breakfast / diner at the large table with all the other guests, so if you prefer to spend meals only with your family, this could cause some problem. Unfortunately there was no cupboard on any place to store our clothes in the room, we missed that.

Everything was just perfect - the location next to the charming town of Graveson and TGV Avignon station, the beautiful garden in full bloom, the fountain where we can bathe in fresh water during the sunny summer days, the comfortable apartment with a view to the garden, the delicious breakfast and, above all, the warm wellcome from the owner. One day he even took me and my family for a long ride to see the lavender fields in bloom. A true gentleman! At one given moment, we had leave!!!! We would have liked to stay much longer!!!!!

If you travel by car in Provence, don't miss this place!! The mas with the olive and platan trees, the bats flying and Jean-Paul , the owner, telling his stories... This place is pure magic. And you also get excellent information on the most beautiful routes and the best restaurants plus the local market places from Jean-Paul. The inevitable morning comes when you have to leave...

We had such an amazing time at Le Mas Ferrand. The place was extremely cozy and very well centred among all the amazing hill towns and historcial places that Provence is so well know for. The breakfast that was served every morning was very delicious. Most of all, kudos to the host, Jean Paul for making our trip so very special. He is extremely attentive, suggested different scenic towns and routes that you will not see in the guide books and even drove to St Remy to pick up our bottles of wine. We will definitely come back again. Eric and Danny

“I would say this is a little gem of a hotel with a great location in the centre of St Rem. The pool is excellent, and there are surprisingly large gardens. Breakfast was very nice. The staff were friendly and attentive (pool service for drinks). We liked the many spaces to read, play cards, or just lounge around after a hard days cycling. Didn't have dinner at the hotel as there were too many excellent restaurants on the doorstep in St Remy to try out. Thoroughly recommend this place.” Robert, York |
