The apartment is very spacious and well equipped and there is a supermarket close by. It is close to many of the great places to visit in Provence - St Remy, Les Baux, Avignon...
The biting bugs of Provence.
We had a great time in B&B Le Mas Ferrand. Jean Paul received us with great warm. He was very helpful and explain all tips to visit beautiful surroundings. The house and room were very pretty and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices with cheese, jams etc. Thanks a lot Jean Paul for family atmosphere for the guests. We'll come back!
We loved everything
The owner Jean Paul is what makes this place. He is welcoming and helpful in planing day trips in the area. The breakfast is good and the garden looks nice.
I expect to be able to lock the door of my room, at least during the night.
This Provencal farmhouse is in a small village that is central to so many wonderful experiences. John-Paul and his family are wonderful hosts and always so helpful with directions and suggestions. We felt like we were part of the family while we were there and will definitely come back on our next visit to Provence.
We stayed for four nights. Le Mas Ferrand is central to many beautifull destinations: Arles, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Uzes etc. Jean Paul and family made us very welcome. He is gold mine of very valuable information about the region. Breakfasts were superb; room was comfortable. We would definitely recommend Le Mas Ferrand to friends
Jean Paul is an excellent host--warm, enthusiastic, and happy to help you plan your time in Provence. Every morning he prepares an enormous, delicious breakfast for his guests before sending them on their way.
Owner was there and responsive to any wishes. An exceptional host who made us feel at home, and his taste for fine food and fresh fruit made the breakfasts special. We scheduled it as a rest stop, and it was great for this
Owner jean Paul was great and very kind and also his family was friendly. Accomodation was beautifull and breakfast very rich. Jean Paul gave us many information about the most interesting places for the trips.
Incredibly hospitable Great advice on travel and restaurants
The place itself is beautiful, location is comfortable, and you have all the amnesties you need to make for a great stay. Jean-Paul and his daughter were incredibly nice and welcoming, they helped us plan our stay with great tips and suggestions, provided maps and patiently explained everything there was to know. We had breakfast with Jean-Paul and the rest of the guests, which was a very pleasant experience. The food was great, freshly bought that morning, with quality ingredients. We also spent some memorable evenings there talking and drinking champagne. We couldn't have asked for more from the place or the host. Will definitely recommend to our friends, and stay there again if and when we return. Thanks Jean Paul!
Absolutely nothing whatsoever.
Our host, Jeanpaul, was absolutely fantastic!! He and his daughter went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was amazingly generous and delicious and we enjoyed meeting the other guests at the table. Jeanpaul made restaurant reservations or us, secured our train tickets, and even opened a few bottles of champagne which we all consumed. We were terribly spoiled by such hospitality.
The owner of this B&B, Jean-Paul, was so warm and inviting, he made you feel like you were an old friend visiting for a few days. He was very helpful in planning daily tours and has a wealth of information about local sights and restaurants. He also explained the history of the area. This B&B is centrally located and our suite was huge. A great experience!!
When we arrived, we couldn't tell if anyone was there - an "Open" or "Welcome" sign would be helpful. While our suite was clean, some other areas were very cluttered.
we loved everything about it! jean-Paul the owner is the best. Great host and guide. he planned all our days with great routes and places to eat. we recommend the renting one of the lofts. we worth it!
The chateau is in a Quiet location, just out of town. Beautiful gardens around, which was also lovely. The room was great, clean comfortable with a lovely view to the garden. A delicious French breakfast, every morning, the breakfast was served inside the dining room. Jean Paul drove every morning to the village to buy fresh fruits and fresh breads. He provided us with excellent advice. Jean Paul helped us plan every morning after breakfast. He copied a map every day and explained the roads to take and what to see in our daily trip. Jean Paul recommended us, on two great restaurants. We loved our stay there, it was like staying with friends, rather than renting a room, we were sorry to leave. We hope to return to this beautiful place. Jean Paul is a wonderful host. His attention to details is excellent and outstanding. We appreciated the way Jean Paul took care of us during our stay. Thank you to Jean Paul, his friendly daughter and grandson.
Jean Paul was a terrific host and was very helpful in mapping out our daily driving expeditions. Breakfast was terrific and we enjoyed staying in one of his new "loft" units complete with kitchen, laundry machine, Wi-Fi, TV and music system. Jean Paul also helped with a reservation at a very good restaurant in the nearby village. We strongly recommend Le Mas Ferrand.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Jean Paul was a perfect host and his knowledge of the surrounding country is outstanding. He even helped plan some of our time in Italy, thank you JP. The place is very lovely and restful and the accommodation was superb.
Lovely Mas, wonderful garden, you do feel relaxed! And very close to Avignon, Arles, Saint Remy!
What can we say - the warmth, generosity and hospitality of Jean-Paul and his family would be hard to equal anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble (we changed to one of the cottage rooms after our first night as stair access was easier). Our host took great interest in helping us plan each of our 7 days based in Graveson. Without his suggestion, we would have missed Le Grand Atelier du Midi, an unforgettable art exhibition in 2 parts - one in Aix-en-Provence and the other in Marseille. Each morning our host left early to go to the markets for special treats, so each day different fresh fruit, pastries, breads & eggs cooked in various ways. Best breakfasts anywhere during our 5 weeks in France. In the evenings, sitting around a table in the garden sharing a glass of wine after a day of sight-seeing, all with interesting stories and conversation. One evening when it got quite late, Jean-Paul insisted on sending out for and paying for pizzas for family and guests. An experience we won't forget.
