The location is perfect. The landlord was quite nice. The garden and some roses were lovely.
The Garden Provence suite is shabby. We were five people and there was not enough place for our things. Everything, except kitchen furniture, is awfully old, You are always afraid of things breaking down. I supposed that three stars means Your rooms are tided every day or at least sometimes, but it happened only once, on Saturday (we stayed for 11 days). I think some of the rooms in hotel are renewed and others not - from here the big difference in opinions. We travel a lot - and for this price we have had something much better. We didn't get any bill so no taxes payed to the State. We absolutely didn't like our getting out: there were some 15 min left till the end of check-out and we were still inside doing the last things - the landlords just came in and began to tidy up as if we weren't there. We had an impression to be thrown out. One of the things that induced us to choose this hotel had been the comments about the extraordinary kindness of the landlords: actually we didn't experience it. Just one week before we stayed in the Netherlands in a hotel with such a lovely landlady - there was nothing similar here. We really loved Deauville and Normandy, surely come back here, but not in this hotel.
Very warm welcome just like at home! Very comfortable beds and big bathroom with a window overlooking the garden. Good breakfasts, peace and quiet. Surely we will return!
Breakfast was excellent. Our top floor room was spacious and quiet. A good place to sleep but pricey.
Breakfast hours could have been more accommodative; 8:30 to 9:30. Our room was clean but in need of repairs, light fixture missing over bathroom vanity, loose wall fixtures; poor craftsmanship. Disappointed and not worth the money, truly unfortunate.
Charming landlords, great breakfast and free wifi.
The "Provence garden studio/suite" is unhealthy and uncomfortable. In its current condition it should not be open to the public.
