Owners were friendly and helpful. Accommodation very clean and well presented. Free wifi.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room and really only bed and breakfast accommodation so no other meals catered for and limited opening hours at reception. No chair in the room.

Poor wifi reception in my room

Excellent hotel within walking distance of the ramparts. Room and bathroom were spacious, clean and attractively furnished. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended

The hotel was in a superb location for visiting the walled city of Aigues Morte (10 mins flat walk away) and for touring the Carmargue. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a small pool although we did not use it. This is a new venture for the new owners and they seem to have got the whole idea of hospitality and we wish them well.

Walking distance to town, quitnes by the riverbank, the swimmingpool and the morning expresso!

The owner, Antoine, must be the friendliest hotel owner I have come across. During our breakfast he asked our 4yo daughter whether she'd like to have some crepes. And then came back 5 mins later with crepes for her. You don't get that service even at the priciest 5 star hotels. Rooms were small but clean and at least ours was with air conditioning. The location of the hotel is great. 5 minute walk to the old town of Aigues Mortes. Easy parking, short drive to the Camargue national park..

Atmosphere, cleanliness and breakfasts

This was the first year for the new proprietors and it was obvious that they had worked hard to improve the hotel,and they did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. Cleanliness was outstanding. The buffet breakfast was very nicely presented, with an excellent array of local pastries and breads. Our room was fairly small, but with modern decor and a really lovely bathroom, with excellent walk in shower. The hotel was just 3-4 minutes walk from the centre of the town, which was ideal. The added bonus was the pool and pool area, which was small, but had been very well designed and built, with modern, comfortable sun beds to relax after a day of sight seeing.

We did find our room rather hot during the night, however, since it was a ground floor room, quite close to the road, and near to the canal, We didn't feel happy keeping the window open for reasons of security and mosquitoes. Air conditioning would have been a great advantage.

Recent upgrades make this a good value hotel for 2012, bathrooms are particularly nice and the atmosphere is very pleasant - I dare say once word gets round the prices will rise in 2013. Good location for strolling into town.

There is an element of pot-luck staying at Le Medieval as the experience is completely different depending upon whether you get a room on the pleasant, canal facing side of the hotel as opposed to the noisy, busy road/rail side. For some reason the bed (which I assume is new as part of the recent upgrade) seemed unusually short!

Good clean room, friendly service,swimming pool kids friendly, only 5 mins walk to centre ville. Breakfast excellent.

The people were very nice

Antoine and Sophie couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and so pleasant. Their warm welcome and attention to all our needs was above the norm. Rooms lovely, we wish them the best with this lovely Hotel so conveniently located in Aigues Mortes From Helen, Deirdre, Katie Sheila and Sue

übertrifft die 2 Sterne bei weitem. Sehr familiäre zuvorkommende Atmosphäre.

Le merveilleux accueil. Le patron et sa femme très chaleureux, le petit déjeuner. Le confort des chambres. Nous avons été très heureux d'y passer notre nuit de noces et recommandons chaleureusement cet hôtel.

Pas de chauffage je crois mais un bonne couette en plus dans le placard qui a très bien été pour une nuit douillette !

Le petit déjeuner est moyen il manque de la charcuterie des céréales, et du pain frais et non industriel (dommage)

accueil du personnel, propreté parfaite, petit déjeuner varié et à volonté, hôtel situé à 2 pas de la ville d'aigues-mortes (pas besoin de voiture)

Hotel fort sympathique, un accueil parfait avec plein de conseils sur les alentours (restau, itinéraire, tourisme...), une chambre très agréable et refaite à neuf tout comme l'hotel, et un petit-déjeuner très varié qui change de ce qu'on peut manger dans d'autres établissements! Vraiment rien a redire, un petit coin de paradis!

Absolument rien, tout était parfait!

Disponibilità e calorosità dello staff. Pulizia e organizzazione del hotel. Presenza di una piccola piscina nel cortiletto dell'hotel. Colazione a buffet abbondante con un tocco di gusti locali. Il centro storico è a 5 minuti a piedi dall'hotel.

Soffitto della camera a spioventi con travi sporgenti: attenzione alla testa quando si sistema il bagaglio.
