Score from 553 reviews Very good
No extra bed when one was asked for. Stairs very steep. Very old and dilapidated. No wifi or TV in room. Dirty towels, and dirty room. Do not think it would pass health and safety regulations. Don't think anyone would survive if there was a fire.
Location right on central corridor for pedestrians. Staff wonderfully friendly and helpful
Room was not clean and smelled od cigarette smoke. Bedding smelled of disinfectants and were sticky. Not comfortable beds and bathroom poorly designed and too tiny.
The location is excellent, and on a poor budget, this will be a good place for a solo traveller
The place is a bit run-down. It could get a bit loud because of close proximity to cafes and resturants
Bed very worn out, not plain any more
Saw a cockroach
Location - 5 mins from the station and 10 mins from the Cathedral - shame about the Bastille Day eve concert right outside from 11pm to 2am but the hotel can't be blamed for that
"Bathroom" was very airless and definitely not well ventilated
The location was good - right in the centre of town on the pedestrian street.
The place absolutely stank of cigarette smoke. Made us feel like it wasn't particularly clean. Not particularly airy and paper thin walls (could hear other people zipping their bags up). No wifi or kitchen/kitchenette facilities available.
Hotel owner smoked in the hotel that smelled the whole building, cockroaches/bugs in the room, dirty floors and bedding, mold on the walls and terrible service
Wifi not working on upper floor. Owner appeared totally drunk. Rooms not clean at all.
Perfectly located in the city centre! Walk distance from every touristic attraction. Basic room but clean and well positioned. I would stay there again!
Nothing much else you can get from the hotel
The hotel was really dirty and shabby. We had the biggest room and it was very small. The towels in our room were already used so we had to buy new ones. Next to that there were a lot of stings on the sheets. No fresh bed sheets I guess. Everything we touched was dirty and smelly (smoke). Cheap hotel but really not worth it. Pay a little more for a better one.
The location was good. Right in downtown Reims, near restaurants and shops, walking distance to the cathedral.
It was dirty, smelly, loud and dirty. The towels were stiff and looked very tattered and possibly not really clean. Even though we had a non-smoking room, the smell of smoke permeated the hallways and even into our room when others lit up. The heater did not work. the bathroom was not clean. We didn't even unmake the bed...the sight of the towels frightened me enough that I did not want to see the sheets. This is what I would call a dive.
Reception is so kind. Base on the price, room is small and basic. But it's enough for one night. Location is good on the walking street in city center.
Hotel was located on the main city square - that's just the location, hotel itself was rubbish.
I am surprised that booking.com lists rubbish hostels like this one. The room was old and dirty, towels looked like someone used them before for heavy dirt cleaning, that we were disgusted to use them. Bathroom&toilet were off putting as well, full of mould in the shower.
good price and great location
bathrooms were smaller than expected
The staff were very friendly and the room had everything as publicized on the website.
The bath tub, sink and toilet were crammed into one teeny tiny space!
Location, smack in the centre with car parking very close in underground carpark. 12.50€ overnight/ all day. Price for the room was excellent. Helpful staff.
Bathroom clearly needed maintenance - the loo was loose and whenever it was used, the floor flooded. I would have said something, but my French was not good enough to explain. However otherwise the room was clean, just a bit jaded. Shabby rather than than shabby chic, but for the price was Ok for an overnight stop en route to Italy.
For budget hotel it was fair. Breakfast okay.room small and shower tiny but for 1 night stopover right in centre of town.decided good enough to use again later in holiday.
2Nd time back nasty man kept following me around and just wanted to be paid. We had no towels and would'nt give me any. Said hotel was closed and no breakfast available. The owner who we saw the 1st time we went there was unavailable. The room was smaller and up 3 flights of stairs(not good in 30 degrees in motorcycle leathers). Completely ruined a wonderful trip as we could'nt booked anything else at that late stage.
