- Friendly and helpful staff - Amazing location near 3 metro stations that go across two different lines in the Paris subway - It has breakfast! And it's very good for an hostel: Cereal, bread, croissants, butter, fruit jam, tea, milk, coffee and orange juice! - My room was very cosy with only 3 beds and a lot of space (I think) for 3 persons. Also a sink, so you can brush your teeth without having to get out of your room - The WiFi coverage was sick! Everywhere and anywhere I was my not-that-good smartphone had connection. Amazing!
- Awful bath experience. I used to wake up at 8 AM and the water was ALWAYS coldish. It was sick. Almost unbearable...every single day - The surrounding area was not that safe. You can go out, of course, but keep yourself aware - The kitchen was too small and there were only 3 stove nozzles for everybody (more than 50 persons, for sure).
Good price and location for Paris.
Cold showers. If your room is in 5th or 6th floor, good luck, there are no lift.
Great Staff Good Breakfast Large rooms
Hot water was rare
small shower area
The location and the Wifi
That odour across the stairs was offensive
It has good atmosphere and also a shared place to cook and eat where people could gather toguether.
++Very close to metro, literally 1 min walk. ++Staff is very friendly and willing to help ++Very clean room and bathrooms
The lack of bathrooms
Le Montclair was my home while I was in Paris :) great location, near the metro station, clean, great breakfast, super kind Staff. Thank you guys.
Almost evertrhing was good. Especially the breakfast was really good. And free luggage left was also good
The room was a little bit small
your bed is comforable. widely and your wifi connecting is very good aswell
your bathroom the shower can not take off and have to push the button all the time while having shower
Breakfast was very good...Wi fi was also fine and accessible in the rooms also
Near Metro station (80mt) - Near Carrefour (350mt) - Near Sacre Coeur (1 km) - Locker with combination (cabin trolley ok) - Good Breakfast (also with croissant) - Kitchen with microwave and owen - Common room small but cozy - Staff Kindly - Door with magnetic badge - Free earplug
No Lift (six floors) - Small room - A few of energy plug - Heater broke - Air conditioner disable - mini Toilet - Shower/Tap with timer - Towel to rent - PC to rent too expensive - Little fridge - Only three cooking fires - Wifi working well only in ground/first floor
the evening get - together among guests. As times, you don't need to go for clubbing. Or you can finally go to club with new friends from the hostel.
the hot water from the bathroom does not function well.
Le Montclair Montmartre Hostel is very well situated, few minutes walking from Sacré Coeur on Montmartre Hill and just a minute from Jules Joffrin metro station. The wi-fi worked very well, there is possibility to put your luggage into a luggage room (for free), you have a brekfast included in the price, there is a kitchen for you.
I missed a little bit more space in the room. Also there could be more toilets and bathrooms in the hostel, but it was quite OK. A little bit noisy when people were walking in the halls, you could here everything in the room when your door is closed.
It's a compact & cosy hostel, but can be pretty noisy at any time of the day or night but earplugs are supplied free of charge.
six floor without elevator, no shower at floor. Only one (dirty) at the 5th floor. I booked for a female shared bedroom and I got a mixed one. Definetely I will not recommend it!
Location(near from the metro station)
The location is good, very close to Sacre Coeur. The breakfast was very good for the price.
Room uncomfortable: just one main light, so if somebody has to prepare the stuff or find something, disturb the other 7 persons sleeping in the same room. No places to hang anything. The shower was the worst: all the time you have to press the button for the water, and sometimes it was really hot, and a minute later, very cold. And they put a sign saying: "yes, we know that we have a problem with the shower".
Every thing is ok
WC, no water for washing
Quite good to find from the Metro exit. Take 10-15 minutes to reach Paris Nord. Staff is helpful. You need to ask for a key to open the luggage room, which makes me feel really safe to put my luggage inside. Room is big enough. The bed is comfortable. WIFI connection is good. Breakfast is just tasty. Coffee is great.
Small bathrooms and toilets and they're not quite clean, at least for me. But I do believe if there are a lot of people wait in line to use them, it would be a messy scene.
Nothning at all!
I still remember the awfull smell I felt each time I entered the Hotel, and especially in the room. When you come to the reception, you will be given the sheets, so you will have to make your bed yourself. Room was too small, dirty and noisy. the shared toilet/bathroom was also always so dirty, so I avoid using it. Breakfast is poor, you won't find anything from the pictures - each time the same, poor croassants...This place ruined my holiday in Paris and I will never come there again!
Location is the biggest plus.
Nothing major actually. Just the kind of comfort one would expect in a hostel kind of stay.
Cheap, quiet, near center
toilet and shower is in other floor and was not clean. Beds like in hospital (metal)
Easy to find, near Metrol, cheap
