Its ok!! Easy to get there by metro.
The stairs!! They have no elevator and i was in the 6th or 7th floor... there is only 1 bathroom per floor and 1 wc per 2 floors...
Location, atmosphere, you got maps, information, big breakfast
Six floors and no lift, small room for breakfast, but you can overcome that. No that big problem. We liked hostel.
On the reception were very very friendly and helpful. :)
The breakfast was same every day. I missed some cheese, ham or eggs. I hope that this will change in the future. :)
The staff n the breakfast
The fact that the internet is only on the ground floor. This became advantageous though ...opportunity to meet n make new friends n connect
the location was great
the 3 story climb to the room very cramped space , it looked a lot larger in the photo
showers, toilets, stairs are narrow and old but no lift
Near the Metro
no towels, bedding hasnt change. Stairs are steep and too small, no elevator. some of the toilet are not working properly.
excellent location close to metro staff very helpful
it's a bit noisy by night because it on the street but still not much of a problem after all day walking around the streets of Paris when you go to bed you sleep right away
Good location near train station clean good breakfast. Big storage
Some staff not really help it might because he tried This hostel very busy but most of time only 1 staff One staff can hold everything even slow but make them too tried Also wifi only at receiption not in bedroom. No elevator. Small bath room but it ok some group of customer talk lound at night
the homely feeling and good to know many people from other nationalities
lobby space is cramped and absence of wi-fi
Good location close to a Metro station and close to Sacre Coeur.
No wifi signal in rooms, just in the hall. No lift/elevator.
The location availability of family rooms with ensuites cleanliness the Fussball table (the kids loved this)
massively cramped kitchen facilities for the number of people using them (e.g. less than one dozen plates, and one dozen bowls - this quantity doesn't go very far in a shared kitchen at mealtimes in a hostel situation) glad we could book a room with ensuite - but the plumbing had a rancid odour despite daily cleaning, and even with bunk beds the room was extremely cramped
- very close to the metro - good kitchen - good social area - good views - get to meet other travellers
- the women staff were rude - had to pay for towels - bathroom in the bedroom was mouldy with no ventilation - toilets are tiny and claustrophobic - came back to our room unlocked - no wifi in the rooms - only croissants, cereal and bread rolls at breakfast
The location of the hostel is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The ambient. In the reception there is a very good hall, where it is really easy to meet new people. The staff was really friendly and helpful.
The location. It's similarly priced to the many many hostels in Paris, and the location is not to good. Although it is very close to a metro station (which place in Paris isn't anyways), I had always to make two or more connections to different lines to get to the main places. I have had a very different experience in other hostels, where you are at most a line change away to almost everywhere. Not as easily connected to Gare du Nord if you're taking Eurostar, nor the airport Charles de Gaulle. If you're only planning on visiting Montmartre, this is probable a good place to stay, apart from that. But, this must be one of the most unpleasant neighboorhoods in Paris (for Parisian standards ... objectively it's not too bad)
Location is good
There are not so many restrooms and showers considering the amount of people that can stay in this hostel.
bad area - had abusive man walk in from street and abuse guests - the hostel man didn't call police. I was staying in room 1 next to the courtyard and people were shouting well past midnight when there are signs requesting silence and staff did nothing until I requested they say something late at night so I could sleep.
Ahhh the girl I found sleeping in my bed at 3am in the morning!
I have been traveling for one year and never write a review about a place but this one I made time for!The shoe sized moldy showers that there is no room to undress or put your cloths and you can't test the water until you in the shower and the door is shut so if it's on hot or cold your !?$&ed! No elevator! The lack of any comfy seats just these horrible stalls or in the small kitchen which is just big enough for one person to cook at a time and the atmosphere in the hostel is nill! Also both lady's at the reception really blunt and rude and one just stood there for 5mins while I waited for check in daydreaming she was in Narnia or somewhere! In general don't stay here just go stay at st cristophers it's cheaper or same price!
Three person rooms have own bathroom, which is nice. Close to subway, and Montmarte. Breakfast okay.
No wifi in the rooms Uncomfortable lounge area, with poor seats. Tiny bathrooms and showers. You can't move in them. School immediately behind, and very noisy most of the day.
ensuite close to metro station
no soap in the ensuite noise of other residents
Everything was wonderful
Socialize, friendly people, feel like home. Very, very helpful staff!!!
Neighboors always complaining about noise :)
There are no lifts, only a narrow stair. The first floor is pretty warm
Nice rooms with view. Got upgraded free of charge. Close to Metro. Good social atmosphere. Laid back and easy going place. The guy with the black glasses was super nice and helpful.
Some of the staff were a bit rude. Lookin at you "breakfast is finished!" lady. Apparently 10:01 is too late to grab a cup of coffee.
Good nightlife environment and kind service
Not clean and no elevator and no airconditioner, shared bathroom and toilet are so small
