Le Moulin Du Béchet  

The location of Le Moulin and the nearby village of Menilles are stunningly beautiful hidden gems and yet close enough to the a13 to Le Havre for a stop over or in Spring/summer a delightful place to spend a bit more time as a base to explore the beautiful countryside. We had 2 delightfully cozy rooms with excellent central heating (-6c outside and snow) and breakfast in the dining room with roarding fire nearby was excellent, complete with a machine to make your own Nespresso Coffee!We were travelling with 2 puppies who were made very welcome by the dog owning/loving Owners. Lots of space for puppies and kids to run around. All in all an excellent small hotel.

Nothing at all. Just beware that it is not possible to get a meal locally after 8.30pm so if arriving late, bring some wine/cheese and a bottle of wine - or two for a picnic in your room! In summer I guess you could do the same outside under the stars as plenty of outside tables etc.

It is very beuatiful - both the grounds and the buildings. Breakfast was yummy.

Beautiful ambiance and location

Breakfast was poor and unimaginative for price; room could have been cleaner and in better condition...but was elegant and ample.

I thought that the price of the room did not reflect the quality I.E. the room needed some modernisation and tlc.

Warm, comfortable room, especially as weather was cold on our arrival. Lovely garden and surrounding area.

Unfortunately no local restaurant open and Le Moulin Du Bechet does not provide food at this time of year. However, the hostess booked a restaurant for us in a nearby village which was superb.

Le cadre est vraiment magnifique et dépaysant. Le personnel est vraiment très agréable. Nous avions pris la suite duplex, elle est très spacieuse et aménagée avec goût. Il s'agissait de notre 2ème séjour dans cet hôtel.

Nous avions pris la suite car les autres chambres ne disposent pas de télévision. Malheureusement, la télé et le lecteur dvd ne fonctionnaient pas. Nous aurions préféré que tout l'équiment soit vérifié avant notre arrivée. Par ailleurs, il faisait très froid, le chauffage venait tout juste d'être mis en route.

Das Mobiliar unseres Zimmers passte nicht zum Charme des Raumes, die Möbel erinnerten an ein biederes Wohnzimmer, die Räumlichkeiten waren urig und traditionell, sehr schön. Das Badezimmer war sehr schön und geschmackvoll ausgestattet.

La situation en pleine campagne, le calme et les couleurs automnales. La qualité de l'acceuil .

Le cadre est très beau, les bâtiments s'inscrivent dans une propriété verdoyante très bien entretenue.Le personnel (1 personne vue et rencontrée sur 3 jours) est très accueillant et compétent, la chambre était romantique et cependant sobre.

Les voisins anglais se croyant seuls même à une heure tardive.Cependant mon anglais scolaire a suffit à ramener le calme ( 1 heure du matin pour parler une langue étrangère.....) Et puis je déplore l'absence de télévision dans des chambres de ce prix. La baie vitrée donnant une vue totale sur le parc donne également une vue totale sur.....votre intimité car pas de voilage aux fenêtres seul un rideau d'occultation pour la nuit donc plus de belle vue il faut choisir.
