This 3-star hotel offers a restaurant, a bar and guest rooms with satellite TV. It is next to the River Couesnon, just one mile from the Mont Saint-Michel and 50 yards from the free shuttle bus.
Score from 632 reviews Very good
Housed in a historic building, this hotel is ideally located in the heart of Mont Saint-Michel. The classic-style rooms overlook the bay, the abbey or the medieval city.
Score from 347 reviews Good
Hotel Gabriel is located 1.6 Km from Mont Saint-Michel. It offers free Wi-Fi access and en suite rooms just a 25-minute walk from the walls of the old city.
Score from 528 reviews Excellent
Les Terrasses Poulard is a historical building located in the heart of Mont Saint-Michel. It is overlooking the sea and the most of the picturesque village. Each bright room has a modern décor.

Location was good. Staff was incredibly nice.
No one told me I would have to take a shuttle and then walk 300 yards schlepping bags up a steep incline to get to the hotel. Further disappointed by the lack of a tide, which was not the fault of the the hotel. Mont Saint Michel is best seen from a distance.
The experience of actually staying on the Mont was fantastic. It was great to be able to walk the cobble stone streets at night time when the hustle and bustle of tourists had finished. I would thoroughly recommend staying.
Location, right in the middle of St Michel.
noisy and there were not enough staff for the restaurant. We have to wait for a long time for our dinner.
location, atmosphere, staff
Pretty views out our window. Large room.location.
Expensive but to be expected because of its location
Good location, good service
The location at the center of islands is the best plus value.
The breakfast price I also found a bit high..... but ok, that's MSM
Great to be on the Mont after hours and Le Mouton Blanc was perfectly comfortable for our needs
Yes a little early traffic outside but who cares, get up early and start the beautiful day
The place is full of character, a perfect match for its surroundings. Our room had a dizzy view of the abbey, if you stuck you head out of the window far enough. But that was worth it.
A bit expensive, but you can't really complain unless you are prepared to stay out of the island.
Friendly staff, excellent location and comfortable beds
Broken tile in the bathroom and mold in the grout.
This marvellous location is a nightmare to access during the tourist day. At night it is just WONDERFUL- you have the place to yourself. The receptionist at Le Mouton Blanc was brilliant - so helpful. So a great experience.
It is over-priced for the facilities offered, but offset by the location. Everything on the Mont is geared to extract the maximum dollar from the tourist by offering a minimum range of options. But for one night it is a real experience that I would thoroughly recommend - provided you make the effort to use the opportunity. Don't expect to lie in - the street cleaners etc start at 0530.
The young man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good range of foods.
Mosquitos came in at night but it was too hot with the window closed.
Staying on the Mont overnight is a special experience. We were in a building away from the main hotel and it was very quiet at night once the tourists has left. Given the age of the building we were pleasantly surprised by the room fit out. We're appreciated the bay view room we requested. The young man at the reception was very friendly and helpful.
Nothing as we were very happy with our experience.
Mont St Michel is great / except for the people who work there.
Celine at the front desk refused to serve my elderly mother a drink, when we arrived and my mother was obviously depleted from the hike to the hotel. She said 'NO!' and walked away with no explanation, forgetting she's in the hospitality business. Bed was also uncomfortable.
The staff was very friendly. the Hotel was very clean and cute. They gave us one complimentary drink at dinner and offered us coupons to use at many of the island facilities. Perfect location, allowed us to see sights before the tours arrived.
close to everything
long walk from the drop off point to the hotel.
One lady at the reception was personally helpful.
No help with luggages in a place that stays 500 meters away and 50 meters higher from public parking. Small and badly maintained rooms. Poor breakfast. What you see in the site is not what you get. etc. etc……
Beautiful historical hotel in the middle of Le Mont Saint Michel. We had a really nice room with a view to the street. Clean room and comfortable bed.
Location, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable room.
Bedroom window adjacent to restaurant terrace made for noise until midnight. Tiny staircase made access with luggage difficult. Very expensive breakfast @ 17 euro per person.
Location is amazing, I had a side view and could see out to the ocean, the staff were so lovely, just so accommodating and would help with anything. A truly amazing experience in a great locationo
stairs only, and we were four ladies, one elderly.
Fantastic location on Mont St Michel and although the room was a little small and could have been updated a little, this was compensated for by where it was.
right in the Mont St Michel
my room is not in the main building, I need to go up with the luggage after the long walk from the bus station...it's a bit frustrating
Person at desk was a great help and more pleasant than anyone else we encountered at Mont St Michel.
Value for money was fair at best. I would not recommend to stay overnight at Mont St Michel.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Location was excellent.
Very noisy in the streets in the early morning
