A beautiful hotel on the banks of the Royal Channel. It has "Belle Epoque" architecture and various styles of rooms, around a patio under glass roof. The service will make your stay unforgettable.
Score from 189 reviews Very good
Located in the heart of Sète by Mont Saint-Clair, this hotel is just 250 metres from the Canal Royal and 1 km from Sète Train Station. It offers guest rooms with a flat-screen TV.

Ideally located along the Royal Canal, this 19th century edifice welcomes you in a typical Hausmannian building near the center of the city.

All of our stay.
Can't think of one thing we didn't like.
Friendly and helpful staff
breakfast very basic
Excellent value for money, given the location, room size and facilities. Proprietor was friendly and very helpful.
The owner was very friendly and speaks English. He gave me a map and pointed out all important places.
Breakfast was a rather simple affair, not very much fresh food.
Air con and location
Checkin to late ,small bathroom
Really good and cheap breakfast. The host was very nice and I will recommend this hotel
Good location close to train station, easy walk to the centre, helpful manager, nice spacious room, good wifi - everything we like!
Quiet position , comfy bed, good lift
Nothing really just like to get out for breakfast although there was breakfast in the hotel
Our host was extremely pleasant, helpful and keen to please. Good breakfast
Price was reasonable. Location good. Beds comfortable. Hotelier (and dog 'enjoy') were great. Restaurants in area also not bad. Lovely little town. Great hotel for Worldwide!
A few neds/chavs/bams/pikeys etc sometimes hanging about locally. Only occasionally.
Great location close to the station but also a nice walk into town where there are lots of bars and restaurants. It was very hot during our stay so the air-con was a real bonus. Room big enough for two and we had lovely French windows looking on to the theatre. Looking forward to going back next year.
Great location, clean and comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff. Large reception. Close to train station.Very interesting city, lots to see, great beaches.
The lift for our luggage. Free parking nearby.
Old and needs renovation. Carpets stained and furniture broken. Fridge would be useful.
Location: close to theater, train station, bistro on corner free parking in street
Clean, spacious room Very friendly and helpful staff Great decor in general areas and breakfast area-different to so many hotels Easy flat walk into town Quiet side street so good night's sleep Bathroom separate to toilet Good lifts
Walks a but thin for noise but no real issue
Quiet hotel, little road traffic, good nights sleep. Easy walk from railway station. Manager very helpful , very efficient. Breakfast good value. PC in main reception room, free internet. All round good hotel.
It is all ok.
The operator of the hotel is terrific and friendly gentleman. Added bonus was his french bulldog named Enjoy! The room was very good size for the money.
The room was in need of renovation - looking a bit worn and in the room housing the toilet missing tiles.
Attractive and quirky hotel decor. Very friendly and helpful receptionist who advised us on somewhere to eat and was kind enough to book it for us. In the older more traditional part of town, slightly off the tourist drag but close enough for all the amenities.
Le National is pretty central for everything in Sete. Must be one of the closest hotels to the Railway station. Loved the quirky nature of the hotel, the old bikes, nick nacks & photos etc. Rooms were clean, bathroom linen changed on request, stowage space for clothes & cases etc was more than adequate. Really, really pleasant proprietor (Eric) & overall, just loved his place.
bathroom / shower just a little tired, but in the main everything else well cared for.
Generally a nice hotel, clean and comfortable.
Friendly staff, very helpful. Thank you Eric. The hotel is closed to seafood restaurants and many more.
Very friendly, helpful hotel staff. Nice communal areas in hotel. Hotel is very close to the station and a reasonable walk from the busy town centre
This is a small hotel as I favor them. I registered with it because of the type of persons who recommended it: cyclists. I was not disappointed. Our room faced the Theater and was very quiet. Everyone in the hotel was quiet and well-behaved. The hotel is a short walk from the busy downtown so it is nice to retreat to a quiet place.
The internet connection was a bit iffy but it is not the fault of the hotel. Other businesses in the area complained about their internet connection for example when they had to run a credit card. The only area in the room where I had a mostly reliable connection was by sitting on the floor in front of the door to the bathroom.
The management were very friendly and helpfull the room was small but adiquent.
the breakfast was a bit basic.
