Big room with fantastic view over the port and across the bay. Easy to get out of town. Lovely 20min walk along the boardwalk into town. Couple of good restaurants, a brasserie, 2 great patiseries and laundromat within 5 min walk. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. No meats at breakfast and only baguette and croissants for breads. Ran out of baguettes last morning there.

I chose the hotel whilts touring France on Holiday from Australia. My budget was limited and the Hotel le Nautic fitted my needs. It was in a good positin within the city, was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. I also appreciated the availability of parking. I would stay there if I visited Arcachon again Nothing really - the rooms were looking a little tired and maybe the bathrooms could have been upgraded but all in all I was content

Friendly and helpful reception. Comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water. Copious breakfast. Free parking. We also liked our room's small balcony. Would recommend the hotel - it's good value! Tomtom sat nat doesn't give correct locaton of hotel. We don't like crepi on the walls. Bathroom lighting could be improved.

Nice, comfortable hotel, set back from the marina. A pleasant twenty minute walk along the beach (wooden promenade with lighting) to the Palais de Congres/Arcachon centre. The room was fine with a small balcony, and the windows have wind-down shutters which are a bonus at night. Standard continental breakfast (cereals, bread, croissants, etc). Very friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely view of harbour, clean comfortable bedroom with small balcony, good breakfast, has it's own parking, takes dogs Our shower was broken; it worked, but the wall fixing was snapped by previous guest. We noticed this the afternoon we moved in. No other comparable room - we'd paid extra for the view - was available. The hotel manager did not give us any compensation - she could have let the dog stay free, for example - and was very snippy, bordering on rude.

The hotel was close to good restaurants and the beach boardwalk, yet was not down in all the beach trinket store hubbub. Parking was easy and free. Great breakfast, nice rooms, friendly staff!

Pleasant location near the port with numerous restaurants nearby. It is a bit of a walk to the town centre but an enjoyable one. The hotel rooms are scheduled for renos...high time!...but the mattress seemed reasonably new. The breakfast is quite meagre and should probably be included in room price.

Booked a port view room which had a lovely sea view. About a 20 minute walk along boardwalk on beach to restaurants. Quiet location. Free onsite parking. Free wifi. Thought rate was a little expensive as it was room only. Liked arcachon and dune de plya.

All the staff were very helpfull and they made a special effort to get assistance when we needed a doctor . The 24 hour reception was a good point and ideal for a nightcap and car parking . The distance from the town centre was a long walk approx 30mins so car was used more than normal.

A nice balcony overlooking the port. Quite a hike from the main centre, even with a car the one way system makes it unpleasant to come and go. The staff are a little drab though courteous and helpful. This hotel is overpriced for what you get.

Very kind staff. Rooms although slightly aged were stiff confortable. Breakfast was also fine, then again if you can't get fresh delicious croissants then it would be a crime in France :-) I would suggest darker curtains on roadside rooms as street lamp is a touch bright.

Very good, 8.5

“This was a lovely old villa with beautiful, large and elegant rooms. There was plenty of parking and it was in a quiet and elevated part of town. Because there was a lift in the nearby park, it was easy to access the shops, restaurants and beaches. We would love to be able to stay in this hotel again. The proprieter was very interested in showing us photos of the hotel in its heyday and was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the room well furnished with the added convenience of a small kitchen area.” Angela, Southsea |
