In a typical and quiet little street, looking out on the Seine and facing Notre-Dame Cathedral, stands the Hotel De Notre Dame, your next Paris residence. Guestrooms are elegant, cozy and refined.
Score from 303 reviews Good
Hôtel Albe Saint Michel is in a central location, in the heart of Paris’ Latin Quarter, by the Seine River. It is 5 minutes from Notre Dame Cathedral and the chic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
Score from 607 reviews Very good
This stylish 4-star hotel is in the heart of the lively district, the Latin Quarter in the center of Paris, facing Place Saint-Michel and its famous fountain.

La Regence Etoile hotel is a 3-minute walk from the Champs-Elysées and Arc de Triomphe. It offers elegant, air conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi internet access.
Score from 493 reviews Very good
The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the rooms are very clean, tastefully decorated and the large windows overlook the Seine and Notre Dame. We found some wonderful restaurants within a few minutes walk and away from the busy Rue St Michel ( Chez Fernand, Rue Christine / Le Petit Chatelet, opposite hotel )
The hotel is bijoux but many Paris hotels are; the bar was not particularly well stocked but the hotel is surrounded by fantastic bars and restaurants...
A few stairs to the office
The location. The decor. And the size of the bed
The stairs up to the lobby and narrow corridor
Clean, tidy and diffent style. Bed is comfortable and we have pleasant stay. Best part is close to metro and rer and major attractions area.
No shower, room is small and not facing courtyard at all as been described. It's hard to find the location as we missed the entrance and have to pass few times before going in and check in on 2nd floor and pass through stairs.
The rooms are very clean, and the views are spectacular. Lovely continental breakfast. Staff very helpful: Simona especially was fantatstic. Very convenient for the RER and Metro, and Gare de Nord line. Tour buses and boats just outside. Lovely river walks. Ask for a room with dual aspect view if available.
The loft room is a duplex with steep stairs, and a bit tricky for older people, and with a view only when standing.
So central that we walked everywhere, nice safe area. Room had great decor and very clean; good modern bathroom. Staff very accommodating and friendly. I would also be happy to come here as a solo traveller
Its super noisy with windows open (but that is the downside of being central) Double glazing and aircon is good so we slept very well. I would also like a more buffet type breakfast..but thats a personal thing. There was nothing really negative about this hotel...and we are fussy!
Excellent interior design.
Very noisy room towards the street. Shower flooding when showering. No restaurant at the hotel. Poor staff.
This hotel deserves an excellent rating just for its location. But the management has gone a step further in staffing reception with very pleasant and helpful people. During our eight night stay earlier this month, we received courteous and efficient service with very helpful tips on how to make the most of our visit - tour options, restaurants, transport, etc. Special mention for Julie and George who really made us feel at home, catering to unusual requests at odd hours. Room (#31) had interesting Christian Lacroix decor, a bit oddly shaped, but generally clean and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and clean, with consistent hot water. Amazing view on Notre Dame across the street, with Latin Quarter activity below and right behind. Consequently some noise did float into the room through closed windows, but that was part of the charm and did not bother us in the least. Our stay at this hotel contributed to a wonderful Paris visit, with countless treks in the Latin Quarter and along the Seine. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for location, service, and decent accommodation. Thanks to Julie and George and all the staff.
Location Staff helpful Wonderful reception area with views over Notre Dame
Small slow lift Surrounds can be noisy at night
Lacroix decor, quiet rooms, great air con, wifi, lounge/ breakfast room very well located overlooking the Notre Dame cathedral! Walking distance to the left bank side walk alleys ( if that's what you like) but a short stroll to isle de St. Louis, on the river, walking distance to many main sites and attractions and great eateries (away from the laminated menu restaurant precinct and also very close to the laminated menu restaurants if that's what you're looking for). Beds very big and very comfortable. Continental breakfasts only but they are pretty nice bc it's in a quiet first floor room overlooking the river and the cathedral - a great view eh?? once inside the foyer but there's a lift from the first floor to all the higher levels. Staff are fantastic and there's a vg shuttle service to the air port that's less expensive than a taxi. Also check if your room has a walk in Shower or just a shower bath as some rooms do. . Air con is excellent and quiet tho and I did not mind it - even tho I usually prefer to sleep with an open window. Wifi is excellent - plenty of oomph.
The courtyard is not a courtyard but just windows overlooking the building etc at the rear but if you want to have a window open then at least it will be quiet but it's very noisy if you want to open the window in rooms overlooking the cathedral. One thing to remember - entrance is up a flight of stairs so if you need help with luggage go up and ask for it and someone will assist quickly.
This hotel has everything you need, meaning bed, shower, and wifi, and near tourist attractions if that's what you're after. We stayed here to access the airport train for a very early flight.
The hotel is dated and very small, but it's in Paris so space is limited. The hotel didn't feel clean and welcoming, and I found the staff rude. I really didn't like how they made you leave your key at the desk when you went out. I wouldn't stay here again, I stayed in a much nicer hotel for a better price a few days prior. I'd say this hotel is good for someone who has just graduated high school and is touring Europe for the first time.
difficulty getting wifi
The view from the room was beautiful. Anais was very nice and helpful. The location is good but you can find nicer hotels for half the price nearby.
They gave us a room with a broken and very outdated toilet upon our check in. When I noticed it, it was about 9pm so I called the reception and the gentleman told me that I had to wait for the next day to get it fixed or simply change to another room in a lower floor and without a view. Hence that I paid extra for that room with the view to the Seine River. He didn't seem to care because I had already paid for it. There's one tiny and very slow lift that takes forever. There was rust stains and holes in the sheets and bath robe. There is no door in the shower, so every time we took a shower there was water all over. Paris can get very chilly during the night even in the summer time, and their heating system does not work during the summer months. You have to leave your keys at the reception everytime you leave your room. Having to enter the password for the wifi everytime you want to use the internet was a pain in the arse! There was a renovation going on right next to our room 51. We could hear alot of noise and a strong smell of paint early in the morning. There's no sound proof in the rooms, so we could hear loud noises from the street as well. This hotel is beautiful and very well located but it's very outdated and far from being comfortable. I would not stay here ever again an I would not recommend it to anyone.
Great location, awesome views towards Notre Dame and La Seine, at the heart of the Latin Quarter.
The attic rooms, however cosy and romantic, are a tad too small and hard to manage, i.e. the furniture is scarce and not very practical for someone who is used to lining up the contents of their suitcase. But since it's pretty much the same with all living space in Paris, it's not that big of an issue after all.
The hotel was perfectly located, across the street from the cathedral and in the middle of everything. If you only have a few days to see Paris, this is a great location. Breakfast is served (for 10 euros) in a large, comfortable lounge area overlooking the Seine and the cathedral.
The "courtyard view" room had no view at all. The two windows looked onto giant aluminum air vents, just inches from the window. There was no natural light at all. We kept the curtains closed. When room service was cleaning rooms across the hall I peeked in and saw that other rooms did have natural light and views. Our air shaft/air vents room was expensive, so I'm pretty sure we paid as much as those with natural light and views. If offered a "courtyard view," ask for a better room.
We had the best view from our window! and the staff did really help with any questions. Great breakfast, and fresh fresh orange juice!! What a location!
The rooms I tiny. if you are tall guy like me avoid this place. I could even stand in the bath!
Incredibly friendly & helpful staff. Brilliant location with lovely rooms. I would stay there again.
Excellent location. Views from the window on Notre Dame and river Seine. In the evening you can hear the voice of Paris that never sleeps.
Expensive. Poor breakfast. Small wardrobe.
Excellent location, we could see Notre Dame and Sekwana from our amazing room. We will be booking here again for sure. So close to Metro and train station for airport . We will be back
Breakfast not included, 10 € fore coffe and croissant is to much.
Julie and the other staff were SO nice and helpful - very tolerant of all the guests!! Location of the hotel is awesome. Elevator is good too. Loved the funkiness of this hotel in it's decor, and our bed was comfortable.
VERY noisy location, and noisy rooms overall unless you're on the top floor. Rooms are TINY and our room was a death trap with only a tiny window to look out - we were in the attic pretty much. Bathrooms are super small and only a few rooms have showers. We did get a shower but the door only went 1/2 way across the wall so you end up getting water everywhere! Why, oh why don't they just put a normal shower door up??! NO fridges in the rooms which was frustrating, and the A/C is controlled by the front desk so we couldn't get the room as cool as we would have liked - really poor set-up. And everyone's room doors SLAM open and shut so the noise is just terrible!!! They need to fix that.
Staff were kind, courteous and professional. Rooms were clean and updated with a phenomenal view of river and Notre Dame. Good value compared to other area hotels.
Walls between rooms were paper thin so noise next door was a problem. Traffic noise a minor irritant. Room had some awkward issues such as shower which leaked onto floor and of course small cramped areas but this is a given in most places in Paris.
Staff were extremely helpful, central location, great views
My wife and I cannot begin to express what a wonderful experience we had with the staff and accommodations. It was the perfect Hotel for us. Without question we would return in a heartbeat. There is nothing we could suggest to improve it. It's the best!
After traveling for 10 hours, the tub was absolutely fabulous. I have not seen a tub like that in the 20 hotels I stayed in Europe. Absolute luxury. My sleep was so much better because of the relaxing bath.
The ability to get to the reception desk with a heavy suitcase. I am 70 years old and this was most difficult for me.
