The breakfast was very good (excellent the jams) and the owner incredibly polite. Rooms are large, very clean and nicely furbished. The outdoor in summer is a great asset.
It is a bit far away from the typical Champagne route, but the distance is definitely compensated by the beautiful location
A lovely modern house with a well equiped lounge area to share with other guests and for breakfast. Very quiet village. Rooms are top class with outside decking if it is warm enough to enjoy, looking onto forest area.
Stunning peaceful location. Gorgeous huge room with private terrace. Beautiful bathroom. Everything spotless & pristine & top quality fixtures/fittings Wonderful owner - Thierry Soft luxurious beds/bedding Didn't want to leave & 1 night was nowhere near enough
Nothing about the hotel only the lack of restaurants within walking distance as we hated the pizza place we ate at in the village
You went through electric gates into a little bit of heaven! It was exquisite. Nothing had been neglected. Everything was beautifully offered. The beds were a dream. Breakfast was wonderful. The teas and coffee perfect. Tranquility! I shall recommend to all my friends and family.
Outstanding modern development in park land
Lovely room with doors leading out to a patio, with the woods in front. Rooms was spotlessly clean, and bathroom had large wet room. The price of the room included breakfast which was excellent.
Wonderful architecture and excellent service
Bed was excellent as was the walk in monsoon shower. The hosts are lovely and breakfast was delicious.
We traveled in Europe for a month and found this to be one of the nicest places we stayed. The country setting with the rooster crowing in the morning and the lady next door feeding her geese appealed to us. It was just a short walk to town.
The village itself is lovely, and Le Parc du Chateau is tucked away in a peaceful corner. The provision of bathrobes, powerful hairdryer etc all help to make the visit a wonderful one! When we couldn't get a meal (you need to book in advance at the village Italian!) we were welcomed into the residents' sitting room and provided with everything we needed to enjoy our takeaway pizza. The availability of drinks in this room also helped! I cannot find any fault whatsoever with our stay and I will definitely go back.
Everything. Even a pot of tea when we arrived
Extremely welcoming and helpful couple running the business. No problems when we were delayed arriving. Local restaurant in the village of Hermonville (5 mins walk) was great food and great value.
The location in the champagne district and the helpfulness of the owners.
Lack of restaurants nearby
Fantastic rooms and bathrooms. Own terrace. Great breakfast. Friendly welcome and assistance provided if needed.
Very small village, a bit of the beaten path, with only a pizzeria so some travellers may want to drive to a larger town for food.
This is the most amazing place, beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. The owners are delightful and do an amazing breakfast,!
Only one bar/restaurant in walking distance.
Beautiful location, lovely hosts, gorgeous personal terrace with woodland view, great breakfast, excellent wifi, parking, wonderful bed, amazing shower, fab breakfast! This place is just perfect!!!
the location, greenery, the terrace
I went with my husband and our 1year and 10 months daughter.we had to pay extra 30 euros/night for her, but no crib, no linens for her.a breakfast for a child under 2 years ???it wasn't very nice.
Friendly owners, excellent breakfasts, immaculate rooms.
No fridge in the room. Wi-Fi variable.
Everything, hosts were very welcoming and friendly, room was clean, comfortable and well appointed, little terraced area at back of room is nice touch, as is lounge that guests can use. Breakfast was great. I stayed for one evening and would definitely go back again. Parking is secure, so motorcycle friendly.
Very modern accommodation but in a beautifully, sympathetic setting. Our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was excellent for a stopover before returning by eurotunnel to the uk.
Beautiful area, great room with a great view to nature. Service was excellent and the staff was always great and very helpful.
Nice size room, great overhead shower very good value for money
The care of the hosts with respect to their guests and also the general upkeep of the facility.
It was all good.
Lovely village, excellent host and facilities, even if the place is a bit hard to locate. Needed to stop and ask for directions in Hermonville.
The cleanliness and the high standard of the food and its presentation. Thierry and Christine were very helpful regarding my research into WW1 and I will stay with them again when I continue with my research. They gave me a big bag of home grown cherries when i left which kept me going to the UK.
