The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and kept. The whole hotel has been wonderfully restored maintaining as many original feartures as practically possible. |

Fabulous small hotel. Family run, atmosphere of each room was amazing - the detail to the decoration/theme of each room is so artistic. Many extra goodies - unexpected- in each room. Service from the staff and owners was above and beyond. Food in their restaurant was excellent as well as the wine. We will be back to experience other rooms. Location was excellent. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming in to Chartres! Cannot say anything bad at all! |

Very good location and very attentive staff.the rooms are beautifuly decorated and the indoor resturant is very nice with live Jazz band playing. Hotel manger arranged a parking place for us. No Parking. |

The staff and owners were very helpful and friendly on arrival. We ate in the restaurant that evening and had a good meal, with attentive service again. Breakfast was perhaps the biggest highlight given the freshly squeezed orange juice and quality of other elements (viennoiserie, bread and coffee). It was very pleasant to be able to stroll from the hotel in the morning to get something for lunch for our onward journey. All in all a lovely place to visit. |

Exceptionally friendly staff and great location. The room was comfortable / spacious compared to most establishments and the restaurant reduces the need to travel for meals. |

We liked the wonderful aspect over the cathedral and being right in the centre of town. It was very quiet in spite of a major orchestral concert taking place in the cathedral. The staff were particularly good and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable including having our breakfast ready for a 6.30am Saturday departure! The only problem was when we followed the GPS instructions to get to the hotel we found the street blockaded by a barrier. We eventually parked right in the Cathedral square but risked an overnight parking fine. |

Management provided exceptional service. The building was built in 1300's, but rooms include all modern conveniences. Setting is pleasant and comfortable. |

The location of the hotel is perfect.The beautiful Cathedral is at your window and 20 steps walk.Excellent ! .The hotel design is creative.The owner gave us a most warm welcome upon our arrival. The stuff collaborate,and was nice.We had a nice dinner at the hotel. We had difficulties to get to the hotel.Maybe a directing map on the hotel sight would help. :) |

Excellent location for exploring Chartres - virtually right next to the Cathedral. Friendly, very helpful Staff. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. No onsite parking, but the car park was within easy walking distance, expensive though at 15euros overnight. |

A restaurant with just a few high quality bedrooms set in a charming 15th Century building adjacent to the Cathedral. Very helpful owner - who even parked my car! Staff are very friendly. An enjoyable dinner sat outside in the Cathedral square, followed by an excellent continental breakfast the following morning. Worth exploring the basement areas which are indicative of the building's character. |

The closeness to the centre of Chartres and comfort of room. The shower was fantastic and I loved the compact kitchen Lack of storage space for clothes in the Louis Room and poor lighting in bedroom |

The location of this hotel is stunning, with Chartres Cathedral its immediate neighbour and plenty of interesting eateries within walking distance. The individually designed rooms are a delight. We stayed in Henri Quatre, which fronts onto the Cathedral Square. |
