quirky and characterful. geat location for the cathedral and cafes.

parking is 5-minute walk and well-organised but time-consuming because of one-way systems and easy to get lost. rather cramped feel about the place.

You couldn't ask for better opposite the cathedral. It is a beautifully renovated old building. We ate in the hotel's restaurant. It was very good and good value. There is a cellar night-spot downstairs.

Not able to buy stamps in the whole of Chartres

The hotel was very comfortable, quirky and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I recommend for a very different stay. Its so convenient for the Cathedral and town.

Everything. The gentleman was kind enough to wait for us since we arrived after the check in time policy. The room was very nice and comfortable. Finally but not least the breakfast was very good with homemade jams, croissants, dried and fresh fruits. Definitely I would recommend it.

The location right next to the Cathedral is wonderful and this puts you in the best place for exploring Chartres. The breakfast was fabulous. The manageress/owner was lovely and really helpful. The parking (included in the room rate) in a nearby public car park is easily arranged with the hotel. The room Les Anges was beautiful - very romantic, with views to the front and rear of the hotel, a screened-off sitting area and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath. We will definitely return.

The design of the bathroom did not allow for the shower head (in the bath) to be hung up, so this was awkward for having a shower. The bathroom hairdryer was a bit awkward to use - too far from the mirror, and there was no socket near a mirror if you wanted to use your own hair-styling equipment.

The individuality of the room with a round bed and funky lighting. I didn't eat there but the food looked great.

Le Parvis was an absolutely fabulous place to stay with a mix of typical french hosting and yet very chic. The bed room/suite was fantastic overlooking the Notre Dame Cathedral and the sitting area made it feel like an apartment. The suprise was the fridge, two ringed cooker and kettle which made making drinks and lunch very easy. The room was decorated in a shabby chic style, a mix of the old and the new. Breakfast was typical french fare which again was delicious with plenty of french coffee, cheeses, jams, meat and french bread. The Plat de Jours each day was also great value at 12 euros. The variety of places to eat was just outstanding and there was a nearby shopping centre along with a brilliant supermarket [Monoprix]with an great selection of food and wines. Service and comfort was outstanding. However I would not recommend Le Parvis for anyone who is not able to climb or descend stairs. We are planning a return visit to this beautiful city and will definitely be staying at Le Parvis.

There was nothing not to like, this was no ordinary bed and breakfast!!

Great location next to the cathedral. It has great ambience with cellars which hold live music nights at weekends. The hotel is set in the medieval centre of Chartres close to restaurants and shops.

It was a perfect location for visiting the cathedral in Chartres. The staff was very helpful even though they did not speak much English.

A truly amazing location overlooked by the stunning cathedral in Chartres. We stayed in Louis which mixed the original character of the historic building with modern touches. The welcome was warm and friendly and we would recommend staying at Le Parvis wholeheartedly.

Excellent location next to the cathedral and wonderfully eccentric decoration of our bedroom. The staff were particularly nice and we enjoyed our stay very much and would go again.
