Our room looked right our into the small market square. The house dates back to the 16th C and is full of character, with rooms prepared to a high standard. Friendly owner & staff and a good breakfast. Private parking (but be aware the access streets are very narrow!)

Nothing really, but be aware you may be woken early by the market being set up just outside. All part of the local character

On a positive note, the hotel is nice, clean and well run. Just check if there is anything on the days you stay!

We arrived fairly late but within the time given to find we could not park the car, and had to initially leave it on the street… and then move it late on the night. There was also a jazz festival going on the two days we stayed, which went on to 23:30 right outside the window, and to make things worse, a market set up outside our window at 7:00 next day!

The rooms were very individual. The place was spotless and the rooms had real character.

One of the rooms was a bit pokey

Very kind, knowledgeable owners who have created uniquely decorated country chic rooms and know everything about the area (owner was a vice-mayor in town for a while). The hotel faces the 12th century "beffroi" and a small central plaza where there is a Wednesay night locally-sourced market and where we ate at the affordable, delicious outdoor Couleur Cafe where you could have a full meal with locally sourced cheese, veggies and more for 10-15 euros. SOuillac is a good option as slightly less overrun with tourists than all other spots. It was about a half hour drive from all big tourist spots. Note: family room # 12 with 2 twin beds and large parent bed ( separated by large curtain) had absolutely lovely linens and decor and a view of all the happenings outside. Merci aux proprietaires pour toute votre aide et votre accueil chaleureux!

Nothing, but note that you need to pop by office to find out where parking is located. it is a block away but all luggage can be dropped off in front....and there is an elevator.

The hotel itself is a lovely old building with beautiful features. The rooms are small but comfortable. The owners are lovely and cannot do enough for guests. They were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were very hot at night. Although once i requested a fan one was put in my room. The breakfast, although very nice, was very over priced.

Location and character of 15th century old building.

Front of the building over looking a lively market is noisy. Have to accept that a 500 year old manor house has many limitations: no air conditioning, so hot in summer.

Central location, beautiful building, friendly owners.

Noise from Jazz festival - unless you love Jazz, check the dates before you book!

Lovely old hotel and friendly staff.

pity no evening meals. As usual in France breakfast was expensive but we did not take it so no idea what it was like.

Very friendly jovial host in an interesting ancient building. If hotel shut on arrival, you will probably find mine host in the bar next door. Very central location.

No restaurant, but plenty of eating places nearby.

Charming and typically French hotel with character, historical reference and ambience. Central location in a delightful part of France with much local points of interest. Excellent breakfast in an evocative cellar conversion.

The rather offhand reception with no staff present to greet new arrivals. The young lady deputed for the task was pleasant enough, but a little more 'welcome' would have been appreciated.

Small hotel with maybe 15 rooms. Very authentic furnishings. Led by a warm, also authentic married couple. Very helpful and friendly. The breakfast left no wishes open. Wonderful, fantastic, dreamlike hotel perfectly located on a beautiful small square with cafes. Room to the marketplace yet quiet. A little piece of France. Best wishes, German family with 2 children and a baby
