Nice old hotel with pleasant feel facing onto the village square. Friendly staff. We had a very quiet room. Nice courtyard to sit in. Nice breakfast. Easy parking at the back of hotel. Good value.Rooms on ground floor for those who do not like stairs. Well placed not far from motor way and good base to explore Honfleur and Lisieux etc.

I was in Normandy for D-Day in 1944 and returned for the 70th anniversary. I had the pleasure of staying at Le Petit Castel. The accommodation was great, the hospitality even greater and Frank deserves special mention. He very graciously looked after me and my son in law and made sure we had everything we needed.

Owner/manager was extremely accommodating. With my limited French, he helped us with all our problems from cell phone to internet access problems with my tablet. Wi-fi there was good, we just had difficulty coming from the USA. Breakfast was very good.

Very friendly personnel. Small, quiet and beautiful town which gives the possibility for daily excursions.

The group of a group of young girls right next door putting the music and talking loud in the middle of the night. The walls are very thin and we could hear everything.

Nice little hotel in small town with a nice garden and helpful staff; good value for money.

The bed was very small (I am 1.80m). Even though the room was redone, the bathroom was clearly only "painted" which gave at first sight a nice look but was still quite basic. There was no shower curtain (shower in bath) and therefore the whole bathroom was soaked.

Beuzeville is a typical Normandic small village. Hotel Petit Castel has a lovely garden, friendly host, own parking place, central located, pretty appearance. Breakfast is good, renovating is good. Although regrettable that windows in our room - front hotel - couldn't be opened. No noise from street because two window system. Mattress wasn't comfortable for us. Bathroom was good. There is a very good restaurant across the street: with a garden and delicious food. There are more diner opportunities in the village.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We were a group of five cycling and were able to leave the car and trailer in their car park whilst we were cycling although we had already checked out.

Hotel room description of 'triple room' is misleading but we resolved on arrival. It's just a matter of being 'smarter' when booking rooms for groups to ensure single beds...

    Friendly staff

Decor not in sync with the style of the building. Too modern and colors too bold. I had never seen black wallpaper before.

Convenient location with good parking and pleasant gardens. Good breakfast Good sized room Very nice bed linen. Very clean and welcoming with good service.

We had a triple room as we were accompanied by our 7 year old grandson. The double bed was too small barely a 4ft 6 inches, short - I am 5 ft 6 and my feet were over the end and the mattress was very soft so that we disturbed each other when we turned over . The bed let down the whole experience . We did tell the owners when they asked if we had slept well and we had to say no. As we were halfway through a long journey we needed a good nights sleep. The bathroom had a bath with a shower attachment and a roller blind for a screen. Very old fashioned now. We would have preferred just a good shower and no bath or a good shower over the bath.

The man who runs the hotel was really welcoming and he spoke excellent english. Its a great location as its near Le harve if you're getting the ferry and need a stop over on the way to it and also its only 20mins to the lovely town of Honfleur. Our room was also very clean.

There isn't a lot to do in the actual town its self.

Private parking place. Clean Has a few restaurants near by

The attitude of staff. Even if we arrived before close of check in hour, we have been told by the owner that 'we were lucky they have kept the rooms for us'. The rooms were pre-payed! We have booked 2 rooms: 1 double with extra bed and one triple. The triple room had 1 double bed and 2 single bed, no space left for anything else in the room. We've got a room full with beds. I would not recommend it for more than 1 night. Very slow service at the breakfast, not something you want when you travel with young kids!

Hotel decor. Good and very efficiently served continental breakfast. Quick checkout. Secure car parking. Easy to walk restaurant and shops. Quiet room with no internal noise (room at garden side). Pleasant little garden area.

No telephone in room. No choice of bedding - we dislike duvets, but this is just a personal choice. Would not have wished to carry baggage further than first floor, although staff willingly offered to help.
