The hotel's setting was ideal - very central to the area we wished to explore and quietly located. The restaurant, terrace and all communal areas were well appointed, and the room price was very reasonable. The hotel has electric toilets, which could have been a problem at night with inconsiderate fellow guests. However, we were lucky. We did not like the plastic shower, although it worked well (good flow) and was very clean. With a small outlay (notably on new bedspreads and towels) this hotel could be in another league. |

The Area Need a bit of French knowledge as menu is in French with no English translation and my French was not enough to help but was not a bad thing on hotels part as they could speak a little English but could help people to know before booking. |

The beautiful terrace and easy parking overloooking the river Dordogne. The friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The excellent position for visiting this lovely area. Rooms were poorly lit and gloomy. The furnishings were basic and could have been much improved at small cost with a little imagination. The advertised wifi only worked in the dining room. We stayed for a week, but after poor steaks the first night did not eat there again. |

Gastheer kwam al naar buiten om ons te begroeten, ik hoefde eigenlijk geen vraag meer te stellen. Kamers waren uitstekend en exact waar we om hadden gevraagd en het eten was prima. We zijn hier maar één nacht geweest op doorreis naar Portugal maar het is ons uitstekend bevallen. |

nous avons apprécié le charme de cet hôtel et sa terrasse fleurie, nous avons été très sensible à la gentillesse de l'accueil des propriétaires, aux petites attentions discrètes et très professionnelles et au grand calme du lieu. Le dîner était excellent (l'entrecôte est à recommander). |

Les chambres étaient propres L'équipement des salles de bain est trés moyen (plutôt vétuste), le personnel pas trés accueillant et les chambres sont trés mal insonorisées (bruits de tuyauteries...). Pour aller du parking à l'entrée de l'hôtel il faut prendre une allée qui monte beaucoup (pas trés pratique avec les bagages!!) |

l'hôtel est situé dans un endroit calme, le personnel est très accueillant et la nourriture est de très bonne qualité, un foie gras fait maison exceptionnel, des magrets qui fondaient dans la bouche et des gésiers moelleux, et que dire des desserts tous excellents. une seule chose, anodine, je n'aime pas le revêtement qu'ils mettent pour protéger le matelas, il fait du bruit à chaque déplacement ce qui réveille immanquablement, mais cela reste anecdotique. |
