Location and friendly staff. The hotels needs full refurbishment, everything. Sound proofing of windows - very noisy at night - noise from the street. Also a/c essential in Summer months. The carpets were filthy, and rooms very shabby. No lift and no help with luggage up narrow stairs. Electric cables from lamps etc in reception. Laundry room open (and hot) to the guests view, constantly, located on the first floor.

Location was good. Room was tiny, towels were threadbare. Awful smell from bathroom drains. Very uncomfortable bed and noisy surroundings. Definitely not value for money.

(1) Location: nearest hotel to the beach; (2) Receptionist: British lady--English-speaking, friendly and accommodating, although not as familiar with locale as locals would have been; (3) Water dispenser in hallway; (4) One of few hotels able to accommodate 3 persons to a room at a reasonable cost. (1) Hotel is located in a street not accessible to cars, therefore, taxi would drop guests off at taxi stand some distance away for guest to walk to hotel. Can be difficult if have heavy luggage since road is an incline, and particularly so when departing the hotel since hotel cannot assist in calling taxi; (2) Room not clean; (3) Bathroom had a smell and a permanent puddle indicating a leak; (4) Room and bathrooms old and in dire need of sprucing up; (5) Very poor housekeeping--bed linen smelled of food; (5) No elevator: had to drag luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

Great location next to the beach and casino. A 1 minute walk into the town for bars and restaurants. We chose this hotel as it was the cheapest. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for, this is not a luxury hotel, nor did we expect it to be. The beds were comfortable enough for our needs, but the quality of the finishings were clearly a home made job, all bookshelves in two rooms hanging off of the wall & no sign of attempted repair.

Heat was left on, so that the room was boiling when we got there. It was really hot outside 26o Celsius, and it was impossible to turn off the heat. The owner wasn't there to help us with this. Even with the 2 windows open it was difficult to sleep during the night, especially since it is situated near a couple of eateries, closing late and opening early. Much too much noise as a result. Could have been a good night, but was not.

its proximity to beach and the water coolers in the hall Difficulty opening the door using the code. The breakfast room is in the lobby of the hotel and not very nice. Because of close proximity to the beach it was noisy during the night and we were woken up several times by young holiday makers but maybe this was due to the fact it was high season in August.

La chambre est dans un état pitoyable, ( moquette taché à plusieurs endroits, poire de douche rafistoler avec du scotch, très peu de visibilité de sur la télé, pas de té d'oreiller sur les oreillers supplémentaires). Petit déjeuner très médiocre servis dans une armoire, aucune service même pas de table de prêtes.

C'est effectivement un petit hotel, très sympathique et plus que pratique, étant à 50m de la plage, du casino et du centre ville. Mieux placé, impossible. Le personnel est très sympathique aussi et à l'écoute. C'est l'emplacement qui vaut son prix. L'hotel pêche par l'éclairage. En un mot il fait plus clair la nuit que le jour. L'hotel est entre deux petites rues, donc il n'est pas lumineux, et l'éclairage de la chambre est mal conçu... Or, la nuit, certaines chambres reçoivent la lumière de l'éclairage publique qui se trouve à 2 mètres. Il y a certes des rideaux épais, mais c'est bien dommage de séjourner au bord de mer et être si privé de lumière.

Der Kontakt und der Service des Hotelpersonals war sehr freundlich und Super hilfsbereit. Wir waren die einzigen Frühstücksgäste und es wurde extra für uns alles hergerichtet. Die Lage ist direkt am Meer, die City nur 50 Meter entfernt. Parkhaus ist gleich nebenan. Es ist ein kleines und nettes Hotel für Durchgangsreisende. Das Hotel ist sehr sehr hellhörig, es war kalt im Zimmer (keine Heizung), schief hängendes wandregal (Dübel waren teilweise herausgerissen), in der Toilettenschüss klebten die Reste vom Vorgänger, renovierungsbedürftige Badausstattung, alte graue Handtücher

Nous avons aimé cet hôtel parce qu'il proposait une chambre pour trois adultes et que nous étions dans cette configuration (deux adultes avec leur mère). Sa situation par rapport à la plage et au centre de Biarritz est excellente. Sa dimension (un "petit hôtel") en fait un hôtel de charme...
