Beautiful house and gardens with very attentive staff, very little English spoken so guests must try to speak a little french but staff very accomodation. Would definitely stay there again.A Very worthwhile experience No wifi but we were on holiday

The gardens are beautiful and the outward appearance of the property is very impressive. The flowers were all in bloom and the gardens were very well tended. We arrived at 16.00 and there was nobody at the establishment. We called the phone number, still no response but we did leave a message. We left for the nearby village of Viilefargeau and then received a call from the owner and returned at 17.00. The room was very cluttered with minimal storage space. Monique, the owner was very apologetic for not being at home when we arrived, but communication was a major problem. We chose not to have dinner - the menu offered was 46 euros and decided to rather eat a simple meal in the village. We were told that breakfast was a royal meal - it was very disappointing, nothing apart from the usual bread and croissants and many homemade jams to choose from, but no fruit, no yogurt and no cheese. Would not recommend.

Le Petit Manoir des Bruyères et ses Dames nous ont emportés, le temps d'un séjour trop court, trés loin de notre stress quotidien. Tout était parfait. On nous avait vanté le petit déjeuner, mais c'était encore loin de la réalité. Bref, le Petit Manoir est un endroit magique.

Het is echt een prachtie locatie en een ontzettend romantisch hotel. De dame die het hotel runt spreekt werkelijk geen enkel woord engels of anderszins. Dat is wel erg lastig want niet iedereen spreekt Frans. Je krijgt geen eigen sleutel van de buitendeur, maar die liet ze dan wel open omdat wij wat later 'thuis' kwamen ivm de bruiloft van vrienden. Dat was wel wat vreemd.
