The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The situation is incredible. Breakfast was excellent. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The bed was super, and I like that there is no stress about housekeeping. The decoration was tasteful, and you can tell a lot of love went into the renovation.

Location was kind of in a forest. A bit remote. So if you are reaching late, it feels quite secluded. It can be good or bad depending upon your preference. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable stay.

Nice and cozy hotel just 10 min walk to the city center. I had a room overlooking the inner yard so it was calm and quiet. Good place to stay a couple of days visiting the region. I was going to use hotel parking which cost around 10 Eur, but when arrived I easily found free city street parking around the corner - just a 5 min walk (Parking Aymard at the right turn from Bvd du Roy René to Rue de l'Ancienne Tour des Juifs). There are also 2 hotel parking places just in front of the door. Check-in was arranged perfectly: I arrived quite late in the night, outside of reception hours, so they left my keys at the reception desk and sent me a code to open the hotel door.
Appreciated by business customers, the Hôtel d'Angle, just 150 meters from the center of Salon-de-Provence, offers a complete experience.

We booked this hotel after arriving at another - our initial preferred option - and finding it was fully booked. I'd seen Hotel d'Angleterre online and it looked a bit unusual so we booked a room, which turned out to be an excellent decision. The hotel is being renovated by new owners and it would seem that the reception and dining/bar area have been finished as they are really interesting, and well designed/furnished, with lots of quirky British touches, combined with very stylish French design. The stairs and corridors, we have to be honest, leave a LOT to be desired as they are very tired, and in some places, downright scruffy. Don't let this put you off, as it becomes apparent that the rooms are the priority for the refurbishment - ours was really, really lovely with an AMAZING bathroom, with a big bath and a huge walk in shower. Metro tiles and very pretty floor tiles and black taps/shower head etc, added to the feeling of real luxe. The bedroom was huge, with two double shuttered windows overlooking a very pretty street. Furnishings were quite Scandi and minimal which we love, as we don't like fuss in a hotel room. And the bed - well, wow. Incredibly comfy, large and with the most wonderful bedding. Breakfast was great - typically French, with lots of cheeses, bread, croissants, pastries, good coffee, juices and yoghurts. An excellent choice, in a fabulous location - with on street parking, if you are lucky enough to find a space, which we did and which is free from 7pm until 9pm the following morning.

Truly a gem in the heart of centre ville of Salon-de-Provence. What we thought to be a one night stop in our travels turns out to be a comfortable and beautiful hotel with fantastic service. The hotel is also very well located with plenty of interest points and restaurants accessible by walking.

This area offered superb scenery, interesting villages and good roads making finding our way clear and easy. The market days were a definite plus and full of fabulous stalls with quality produce, food, clothing and antiques. Isle de le sorgue was the best market on a Sunday and the swimming nearby in the Sorgue river was a must! Visited Pont du Guard and other sites nearby. Eating fresh produce was a pleasure as we avoided the hotel food options. Truely beautiful part of the world!

Quaint little area, comfortable, overlooking a restaurant and other eateries nearby. Parking was a bit of a hassle though. We were there for a short stay so we did not make it a problem. Good food across the street and around the corner.

The museum at the Château de l'Empéri is a huge surprise. Worth the visit for the quality and number of the uniforms from the Napoleonic era and beyond. It also looks like that their music festival is world class.

After visiting other Provence cities, Salon looks just average. There are no so many attractions in the city. The city looks rather dirty, little bit further from centre. But there are good cloth shops. It seems that it is not a touristic city.

Very charming old city, with street markets on Wednesday mornings and Friday evenings. Interesting castle and musuem of Nostradamus. Among the restaurants there, we like the Indian one the best near the Clock Tower (Tour de l'Horloge). If you go out of town to explore, take the local roads; so much more charming to reach Arles, Baux de Provence, Avignon, St. Remy, etc.

We stayed in Salon-de-Provence because we could stay close to the highway and rooms were much cheaper than other locations. Late evening food options weren't plentiful, but we enjoyed the pizza place we went to.

An exceptional experience. Our bedroom was large and immaculately cleaned. The bed was Emperor size and perfect. The linen of great quality. The bathroom well equipped and spotless. We had a private sun lounger terrace. The swimming pool is large and crystal clear. The walks and views from around the hotel are spectacular. The dinner and breakfast was 5* quality meals and the staff serving with passion and knowledge. Wonderful wines.
Could not ask for anything better.
excellent breakfast. Very cozy atmosphere and excellent location of the hotel. The staff was very helpful. It might help to send an email with the instruction for the temporary parking to unload the luggage before the arrival. The room was wide and the bathroom very confortable. There is some noise on the street, unavoidable due to the central location. But with the air conditioning we could work a nice cool night out.
staff is very friendly and accommodating.
restaurant (good food, wine list … well,… it‘s France)
breakfast (it‘s simple but well done)
location is good, close to vineyards but you still need a car, close to avignon and arles.
the pool.
we got a house and not a room in the hotel ( but this was the hotel decision‘s)
tennis court.
The breakfast was outstanding! We were so pleased with the freshness, quality, quantity and,... well, everything. It was perfect! Monte Alta is a terrific place to stay in Salon de Provence. It's very accessible to the centre of the lovely city and the facilities at the hotel/guest house are remarkable.
Hotel Vendome is absolutely lovely and in the perfect location in Salon-de- Provence, a wonderful place to visit. The gorgeous outside courtyard made breakfast very special every morning. Jacques was a delightful host. I will stay at this same spot again!
We only stayed one night and it was ok for a short stay. The man who greeted us was very friendly and helpful and even let us park at the front of the hotel. The room was large for three and it is very close to the centre of the town.
Clean room, comfortable bed, bathroom a little small. Dinner was very good! Location is remote, but for my travels this was nice. Safe parking. Staff was very friendly. Its an all round nice hotel, but wifi needs attention.
I'd like to appologize for leaving bad review last time ... i meant to write bad review for the hotel I stayed in Andora but somehow I messed it up. This B&B was great so I booked it again this time
Delightful traditional French hotel run by a charming and very helpful lady. Very close to the station where there is free parking and only 5 minutes walk, or thereabouts, into the town centre.
Absolutely great aparthotel to stay in and enjoy Salon de Provence during Winter Holidays. The rooms are new and exceptional, and the view from the window was amazing, lovely stay in there.
absolutely stunning restored monastery dating back to 12th century. The grounds were gorgeous, the views, the hotel itself, and the rooms. Private, comfortable, and in a great location!
They were really welcoming to two very wet cyclists. It's a well equipped convenient hotel. The evening meal and breakfast were very good value. Staff were lovely.
The room was clean and quite large, the beds comfortable. I did not have breakfast. The place was really quiet. Quite large parking in front of the hotel.
