Surrounded by restaurants and bars in the heart of the Latin Quarter, this hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Notre-Dame Cathedral.

As with nearly all big cities there is a lot of noise late at night and early in a morning, but that is obviously not the hotel's fault. I had the impression that smokers stood just outside the entrance, and the smell permeated through the building. Again, this is not the hotel's fault.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, very clean room. Only a short walk to the nearest metro station. Plenty of hot water for shower. Ideal for 1 or 2 nights max. Cheap and cheerful for a short stay. Loads of restaurants, cafés and bars in the streets nearby.
Clean, perfect location
I was on the top floor and could have done with a defibrillator by the time I got my luggage up there but on the flip side, the little balcony gave me a great view and understanding of life in Central Paris, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly were all on display, the actuality of the hustle and bustle of a trendy place after hours was fascinating to watch.
You get what you pay for, can't complain much, location was really good.
There is no elevator, I wouldnt recommend it to somebody who is carrying 40 kgs alone. The stairs and the room are not wow, some maintainance to be done, but overall is clean and perfect to sleep.
Wifi working well, staff ok, clean room + bathroom. Very warm room thanks to the heater (it was freezing outside). Hot water in the shower. Amazing location, you are 3 minutes away from the closest metro station, and 10 minutes away from the rer station that takes you to cdg. Around the hotel are lots of restaurants, bars, shops, boulangeries, at night the St Michel area goes crazy and there is no need to go far from the hotel to have a great evening.
The location proximity to all main attractions quaint old stairs and hotel
general decrepit nature of the place. receipt not issued under name of hotel but on a page of an exercise book. old towels and yellowing linen supplied although they were clean. room needed a detailed clean. front room had a jazz band playing long hours followed by a series of garbage trucks and 'happy' tourists.
comfortable bed. location
No possible live at this hotel... The room is to bad
The man in resorption
Poor and shabby compared to the pictures on booking.com. Could never connect to wifi. 5th floor, no lift. Hot water only once out of 3 times I tried to shower. Bathroom was minuscule and smelly :( The "balcony" was nothing compared to pictures :( BUT, what mattered most was the location and cleanliness.. STILL, will look for another hotel in the area for our next trip in january..
Excellent location in the heart of the quartier Latin. Very close to everything: metro, rer to orly, walking distance of all tourist sites. Reception staff was friendly. Gay-friendly
1. The lamp in the aisle and room didn't work. A little afraid. 2. No lift.
A cheap price in Paris
If you just need a place to sleep through the nights then it is ok.
The location is good, quite central, just few minutes walk to main attractions like Louvre museum, Notre Dame Cathedral...
The public places i.e the stair carpet seem like it was never cleaned!! the wi-fi connection was bad especially if there was more than one mobile.
the location was perfect! the room was quiet clean and the beds comfortable.
My only disappointment was about the girl in reception - for excuse she did not inform me that doors are closing at midnight and you have to open them by your key you have attached to room key (please don't be scared of this). Also there was some lights not working, but that can be fixed easily. So I recommend it!
I would strongly recommend this hotel due to great location and price. I stayed on the top floor, I did not have any extras (shared toilet and shower), but room was big! And bright, with two French balcony windows with nice view, from one I could see Notre-Dame Cathedral. My room had some Parisian style and it was pleasure to stay there, but please be aware that you get what you pay for.
A lot of things. The staff (consists of 1 person) was indifferent at best. There is not an elevator (older people like myself take note) and I was placed on the 6th floor 97 steps from the room. Try pulling a 40 pound suitcase up a tight narrow winding staircase past other people coming down. If there were a fire you would be a statistic as the stairway was the only way out also. The room had a clean interior and had recently been painted. Their was a balcony for viewing the streets and action. The bathroom had mold in the shower stall and on the tile walls. It is in an area of lots of things going on in the evenings in the streets and restaurants. Would not return.
Location off Pont Neuf was a positive factor as was the relative cost to other such hotels.
It was dirty in communal areas , the staircase and bannister were sticky!. At night it was so noisy , even with the windows shut you might as well have been sleeping on the street
For us it was situated in the right area and we chose it because it was considerably cheaper than other nearby hotels
Rooms are very rudimentary, general decor is tired, it's a vibrant area so it can be noisy on a weekend evening.
Great location, on a Saturday night jazz from the street floats up to the room via the balcony. Good if you intend to spend most of your trip out in Paris itself as this is a very basic hotel.
Wall paint should be refreshed (outside and inside room).
Nice location. Correct confort for the price. Everything clean and working in the room.
No elevator (4th floor, 72 steps by foot!!!).
Latin district - awesome location! Although the service is quite nothing you still live in a wonderful place and you have a shower in your room - anything a traveller with lack of money could afford.
Location very noisy above outdoor cafe's until early in the a.m. Narrow stairs and no help from staff for help with luggage. Room could use with fresh paint.
Location was very good, close to everything either walking or metro.
No elevator for baggage, so request a lower floor if you have some big suitcases. Street noise can be loud at night but by second evening you are accustomed to it.
Location is perfect for nightlife and heading out to see the city. Rooms make you feel like your part of Paris.
dirty, decor was awful, with holes in the plaster.no phone or TV.or emergency bell. Noisy, reception unmanned most of the time. staff very unprofessional, and unhelpful.Rooms were very small.
location. close to everything.was a reasonable price.as far as Paris goes ,but was not worth any more. Bed linen was clean.
No elevator, shabby and worn decor (e.g., peeling paint). The hotel sits above a busy 5-way intersection, which makes it noisy all night. We were there in the fall, but on a hot summer day the room would be very stuffy with windows closed, and noisy with windows open.
The location is fantastic, and the price the best we found for such a location. The staff was helpful.
poor reception area and somewhat rundown straiway.
No lift . You hv to walk up to 6th floor if u got u room on top.very run down hotel but clean.
Centre of st germain...metro to airport just minutes away.just a place to sleep on budget is great value in st germain.
Cheap but it's not worth it , we only stayed for 1 night due to the change of our travel plan . Every thing is below average, luckily we left our luggage at the reception on the 1st floor as a lot of narrow stairs and our room is on 5th floor
Good location but very noisy at night until 4am
