Le Placide Saint-Germain Des Prés  

My wife is an accredited interior designer and has 4 and 5 star tastes. We both agreed that this is truly a boutique 4 star hotel that has been very well renovated. The design is interesting and tasteful without being too quirky. There are lots of cafes, shops, gardens and metro stops nearby.

I visit Paris regularly for work and often stay in Boutique Hotels. This week in Paris I was taken extremely ill and required a doctor. The helpful staff at the hotel called the doctor and arranged an immediate visit to the hotel, as well as going to the pharmacy to collect my medication. In addition they arranged room service to be delivered that catered for my limited ability to eat; all without needing to leave my bed. They were wonderful, and I'd recommend this very clean, small, personal and centrally located boutique hotel to anyone wishing for exceptionally friendly and helpful service Thank you

Great little boutique hotel. Simple yet has everything you would need. Great area central to Paris for walking to many sites. Near metro.

Location

The room was awfully small for 2 people. Bathroom was oversized, taking away a lot of space. The whole hotel is not recommended for claustrphobic people.

Location is great, very close to attractions in Saint German. A small hotel with good service.

Excellent location in Saint Germain des Prés - across the road from Le Bon Marche, close to the metro station, large room, clean and comfortable, nice staff.

Staffs are really nice and helpful.

Breakfast is not like 4 stars hotel.

This was my second stay at Le Placide, and it was even better than my first. The location is terrific, rooms are very well maintained, and the staff could not be any more pleasant or accommodating. The hotel has the warmth of a small establishment, but has a professional attitude of a five star hotel. The friend I was traveling with hit a few bumps in the road, and all at the hotel went an extra mile or two to help her and her two teenage sons.

The only thing I didn't like was that my travel plans did not permit me to stay longer!

The location is good, opposite Le Bon Marche. Our room was quite ok, although we did not have a shower curtain.

We paid EUR 682 for 2 nights and had quite some expectations, also considernig the hotel is recommended in Mr & Mrs Smith. However, upon arrival we were very dissappointed. When you step into the hotel is feels like a simple 2 star hotel. A tiny, scruffy lift took us to the second floor. Stepping out of the lift there is a hallway of about 1.5m2 (painted in green). The whole feel of the hotel has nothing 'grand'. The pictures on the website make it all look a lot nicer than it is. The staff was friendly and tried to make the best out of it. However, having stayed in many hotels around the world, this was by far the worst value for money!

悪かった点はありません。

Goed verzorgd hotel met uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Geen geluidsoverlast 's nachts. Op korte afstand 2 metrostations, één richting Marais en Gare du Nord, de ander richting Opéra en Champs Elysee (met 1 overstap). Uitstekend om te shoppen in de korte nabijheid (veel shop-info in het hotel).

Eigenlijk niets.

Rummet var inte klart när vi kom kl.17 ! Frukosten ej värd 46 Euro för 2 pers. Rummet som vi beställt och som används i annonsen som bild fanns ej! Trångt rum på 1.a våningen mot gatan Mycket trafikstört!

Una forma estupenda de sentirte parte de la ciudad, no un turista. El personal es muy amable en general y te ayuda en cualquier detalle que necesites. Eso sí, hay que ir convencido de o que es un hotel boutique. El wifi iba fenomenal (no siempre sucede así en los hoteles franceses) y como es bastante nuevo da mucho gusto estar en la habitación.
