Beautiful location. Nice room, quiet even with a/c on, which necessary when we stayed. Good swimming pool. Possible to have superb gourmet meals but expensive.

Gourmet meals are a big feature & draw non residents which can make parking a problem at night. Staff lacked warmth & there was no sense of welcome. It reminded me of an earlier post where someone had spent a lot of money & was not asked if he had enjoyed his stay. Porter who showed us to our room was very obviously concerned about a tip & how much.

Very beautifully maintained grounds & buildings located at a very picturesque French countryside. The area is stunning, located below the Bellcastle and next to a winding creek. Many places to hike and enjoy the views. Dinner was exceptional with many choices including fresh vegetables from the garden. Very accommodating service staff to help us understand the menu items and wine choices. Nice place to relax & enjoy life.

The hotel is situated perfectly to explore the Dordogne area and being next to a river evokes the perfect atmosphere. The hotel building, although being up to date with its facilities provides the feeling of history and belonging to the area. We went in off season and the price was very reasonable, although be aware of extra taxes and a possible expensive breakfast. The food was memorable for all the right reasons but you pay for the expertise. I would recommend the hotel to my friends.

The most inconvenient thing was that the kitchen is closed on Monday. Although the hotel recommended another restaurant which was excellent. The only other thing was that the river could be a concern from a safety aspect with young children.

Des chambres sont correctes mais moyennes pour cette classe d'établissement par contre la table et les petits déjeuners sont excellents.

Sehr gutes aber auch teures Essen. Das Frühstück bescheiden aber teuer (wenn auch gut präsentiert)

Le cadre magnifique au bord de l'eau, l'excellent accueil de Marinette , la cuisine recherchée et copieuse , l'ambiance famille très sympa , le calme , la chambre cosy ..

Accueil chaleureux, disponibilité. Excellente cuisine raffinée dans un cadre sympathique. Chambre agréable tout confort. Cadre géographique très reposant. Bon séjour.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié le cadre extérieur et la convivialité. Le service était de très bonne qualité mais trop "guindé". La cuisine était délicieuse et généreuse.

Il serait de bon revoir la literie si la taille du lit était appréciable, le matelas en laine trop souple n'est pas idéal pour récupérer et éviter les maux de dos. Enfin quelques détails seraient à rectifier : Ex dans la salle de bain il y avait quelques traces de moisissure au niveau des joints - sur la table des cendriers pas très propres
