Location Safe garage Comfort: bed, bathroom Wifi charges! 6€ for 30 minutes, sourds like a scam!! Over charge for roof, despite information at check in (2 people vs. 3) and acknowledgment that we were given another room Reception trying to charge parking at 10€, 50% more than announced at Check-in

Location was superb - less than a 10 min walk to all key activities, the cablecars, trams, info center, and actually in the city center.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very comfortable and clean.it was ideally located to the town centre and ski buses. We had a most enjoyable stay and would certainly stay there again. The decor on the bathroom door was coming off and was in need of repair, however it did not spoil our stay in any way. breakfast was expensive but the quality of the food was good.

Very helpful hotel staff - very good English. Good & secure ski room. Looked after my baggage before & after check-in / check-out. Good sauna & jaccuzi. Single room rate for a large triple room when I booked. Steam room wasn't operating during my stay. The fitness suite only comprised two machines so not really wortyh a mention.

The staff were very friendly, and helpful. They spoke good english, and accepted my ropey french! Hotel very clean. Spa was very good -- sauna and steam room free! Great after a long day on the slopes.. Excellent price The restaurant was good and really well priced - better prices than in town... so I stayed at hotel! I would definitely stay here again - it had a really nice feel! Lifts could do with a refurb. Would help hotel feel smarter.

the location was great, but there were a lot of hotels in the same location, we would have chosen another place if they were available, but at New Year the town is very busy. The staff werent very efficient, they coiuldnt help much. The breakfast had a lot of choice but most of it didnt taste good. The room was like a cave, very dark with no central light and the walls dirty. Dont stay on the lower floor, we were put here and people on the street can see in your room.

Location was central to the city and having a ski rental in the hotel was nice. This hotel will not allow you to check in before 3pm, no matter what! Additionally the walls are a little thin, you could hear walking and talking from floors above.

Just completed a week+ stay at Hotel Prieure over Christmas/New Year. This hotel accurately reflects its Three Star rating and is a comfortable place to stay. The best aspect of the hotel though is its location: 150 metres to the bus stop for transfer to any of the Chamonix ski areas; 100 metres to Chamonix main street; 400 metres to the Brevent gondola (albeit uphill), and centrally located to everything you need in Chamonix. As such the location alone would have me return to Hotel Prieure. New mattresses wouldn't go astray. But that's about it.

The Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast good. One mix up we had was we ordered the Xmas Eve meal and the booking was forgotten so although we were early and they did accommodate us after we dug our heels in. We were seated in the back wing of the restaurant that was cold and we felt isolated. Other people on the tables in this isolated room also complained. We were forgotten in this room, the service was poor with no apology or compensation, poor relations I feel. Also no tea facilities in the room,so wouldn't recommend this hotel.Poor location to the slopes, sometimes we were 1 hour with all the ski gear getting to the slopes, the hotel could have a bus for skiers.

Great location; Walking distance to the city center, a major cable car station and the bus stop to all major snow mountains. Very nice staffs with great smile who helped me out with a lot of information. It was also good to have a sauna even small after skiing. A sauna was not working one day in its operating hours.

Excellent location, good value (they had a special promotion) and friendly staff. The morning ski lift information could have been better provided...they do have a pc for guests so better check yourself.

Nice place, clean and simple room with balcony, reasonable off-season rates (October, hotel practically empty, restaurant closed). Beautiful view on Mont Blanc (from upper levels), reasonably quiet location but close to restaurants, shops and such. Maneuvering in their indoor parking might be a bit tricky when the hotel is busy (very small and narrow). The "free outside parking" are just a few places in the road, occupied even in the low season.
