This hotel is located in Chamonix, a 5-minute walk from the cable cars. It has a sauna, a jacuzzi and south facing rooms, some of them facing the Mont Blanc. All the rooms at the Hotel Le Prieuré have a typical chalet-style decor and feature flat-screen satellite TV and a bathtub. You can relax on your balcony and enjoy a beautiful view of the Mont Blanc or the Aiguille Verte. The buffet breakfast and four-course dinner are served in the hotel restaurant, La Baïta. Le Prieuré also provides a common lounge room, with a piano and a fireplace. At the end of the day, you can sip a drink at the bar, or have a massage at the heath corner. The location is good. Away enough from the main street where the clubs and bars but not so distant. We walked to the hotel from Chamonix main station but actually the hotel is closer to the station one after/before the main. It would be nice if direction to the hotel is provided on booking.com. The room is clean and the view of the mountain is magnificent. All the staff is nice and friendly. WIFI is not free.

Central location Noise level in rooms (you hear everything that is going on on the same floor. When I wanted to pay, they told me that it was already done; they used my creditcard to pay the remaining bill without signature nor PIN to pay the bill. (I am inquiring at my banc to understand how this is possible.)

Close to town centre, restaurants, shops, etc; good facilities, nice to be able to have a good massage; breakfast buffet excellent; pretty good value for money; rooms a nice size with great views of the mountains

The rooms were comfortable. The bar/restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good power shower Spa facilities good. Breakfast was excellent Drainage from the bath was very poor. Evening meal was not to the standard of breakfast Equipment rental facility not good, paid for insurance but not told what it covered - found out later it only covers 50% of the replacement cost!

The staff where very helpful and the breakfast was good for the money The hotel said it was not a long walk to the nearest ski area, which it wasn't but it was a very steep walk ! Also the rooms where a bit tired

Excellent staff - very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The hotel has a good set-up for early arrival and late departure which enabled us to ski before checking in and also after checking out. The room was large and comfortable with plenty of storage space.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very comfortable and clean.it was ideally located to the town centre and ski buses. We had a most enjoyable stay and would certainly stay there again. The decor on the bathroom door was coming off and was in need of repair,however it did not spoil our stay in any way. breakfast was expensive but the quality of the food was good.

The staff were very friendly, and helpful. They spoke good english, and accepted my ropey french! Hotel very clean. Spa was very good -- sauna and steam room free! Great after a long day on the slopes.. Excellent price The restaurant was good and really well priced - better prices than in town... so I stayed at hotel! I would definitely stay here again - it had a really nice feel! Lifts could do with a refurb. Would help hotel feel smarter.

Just completed a week+ stay at Hotel Prieure over Christmas/New Year. This hotel accurately reflects its Three Star rating and is a comfortable place to stay. The best aspect of the hotel though is its location: 150 metres to the bus stop for transfer to any of the Chamonix ski areas; 100 metres to Chamonix main street; 400 metres to the Brevent gondola (albeit uphill), and centrally located to everything you need in Chamonix. As such the location alone would have me return to Hotel Prieure. New mattresses wouldn't go astray. But that's about it.
