Le Quai Des Princes

This is my second stay in this hotel. Compared to last time, I felt the cleanness of room has been improved a bit. The staff's friendliness is intact and their location is perfect for my needs. This time I used Sauna which is good+. The kitchen in a room so you can make coffee, small meal which I find one of the biggest merit of this hotel.

If they try to clean more carefully(which doesn't cost much for them compared to the renovation so on), there is not much to complain except one point:They should consider to have wifi in a room. These day it is essential. The price is high in high season but with discount price of off-season, I find it good value for money in Monaco.

the quietness and location

In the floor under the rooms there is a parking area with iron manholes. In the middle of the night car passing over these manholes were moving them making a lot of noise and disturbing quite a lot. It's strange that the hotel didn't put any rubber in order to eliminate the stressing noise. I suggest to take rooms on the first floor, since the one on the ground floor are directly on the street.

reception closed at 7.30 pm, only cold buffet breakfast. No access tio internet from rooms/apartments.

Close to the city, good price, clean rooms, nice parking, helpful receptionists, the marina view was great

needs reconstruction because it is old, toilets are a bit small but bathrooms are ok.

The view from the balcony was great.

The staff did not really want to know and the room was in need of proper cleaning. We found kids shoes under the bed and a packet of cigarettes in the wardrobe plus other rubbish left. They really need to spend some money in repairing rotten beams etc.

Position

The standard for a 4 star hotel was very poor. Having spent a reasonable amount of money we were very dissapointed to have an appartment where the ceiling leaked a large amount of water (from the air conditioning) for the complete time we were there. It was difficult to sleep at night because of the constant dripping and we had to walk around buckets which were collecting the water. The only thing the hotel were able to do was to send in someone to empty the airconditioning system which didn't really help.

Bathroom paint getting old

The fact that it has an apartment style with kitchen and nice terrace, its location in front of harbor, nice smiling staffs, a casual atomospher in rather snobish Montecarlo.

Cleaness of room was insufficient as many people said in the review. the rubbish bin in my room wasn't empty so there was a bad smell from the garbage of previous customer although when I asked to empty them they do it quickly. Paying more than 100 euros and having to pick up a few hairs of previous customer in the bath room is not fair. Also the floor of the room is sticky(=not well cleaned).

The position of hotel is really good, specially for the people traveling with children.

Staff is not very friendly and it is strange thing that you have in big apartment two bathrooms and only one (separate) WC without posibillity to wash your hands

met name badkamer vraagt om opknapbeurt. ingang moeilijk te vinden (ligt niet aan een straat, maar aan de haven)

Eigenlijk weinig het zwembad was mooi.

De badkamer muur boven het bad zat vol met schimmel en de acc. waren oud. TV is kleiner dan 30cm. 200,00 per nacht is teveel! Ontbijt zeer eenvoudig.

L'emplacement idéal pour visiter monaco et ses environs

Le fait que le centre marin soit fermé pour entretien tous les jeudis et surtout que cela ne soit pas mentionné sur les brochures ou réservations. Grosse déception, au vu du prix des chambres.
