Hotel La Regence  

This is a return visit, two weeks after the first, and Alexis greeted me by my first and last name the moment I walked in. Wow, talk about feeling welcomed! Betty and Thierry are also very kind, helpful and cheery. All of the rooms have been renovated and all are very, very nice! The location is perfect and central and and I will definitely return! It was a very comfortable stay.

The owners of the hotel also run it, and they are very friendly. There is a cafe/bar on the naming floor that locals and students frequent. The prices are good and the coffee is excellent!

The room was badly in need of a makeover and the traffic noice terrible. But could be remmided.

Great little hotel, in charming small town with beautiful coastal sceneries. Hotel has very good and pleasant ambiance, Betty and Thierry are very nice people and also very helpful. Room was decorated in a retro style, a little bit modest, but clean, comfortable and cozy. Very good value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff odd but friendly

No air conditioning long uneven walk from station not near as stated by booking .com. No lift 4 flights of stairs to carry a fortnights luggage up. Don't take cards as payment. Shower room tiny

We had a fan in the room but was still too warm in July and Air Con would be better, but I guess that is reflected in the price.

It is exactly what we were looking for a cheap hotel near the center of town for 1 night before checking into our Villa. I would not recommend this for several nights or a vacation get away.

Quite noisy because it is on the main road and no air conditioning so windows had to stay open.

It is a family run business and Betty and Thierry are very friendly and helpful, which made our stay pleasant, to say the least ! The 10 rooms are right above the bar, so it is easy to pop down and get a drink if needed. Aslo they do a good deal on breakfast. It is centrally located and the bus to Nice or Monaco stops right outside the hotel. It is only a few minutes walk into the heart of the old village. The weekly market is right opposite the hotel too. All in all good value for money !

I liked the proximity to the river and the twice weekly market area. The room was ok, a good value for the money.

The owner was a little brusque, but competent and amicable

The location is good, 15 minutes from Nice on bus (100 or 81, bus stop Octroi), very cosy little village, the beach is 10 min walk (quite small), the price was decent, the room was clean, everything worked, the towels were big. The staff is friendly.

Our twin room number 4 was very shabby and gloomy. Everything was clean, but very old and not cosy at all. There was a lot of noise from the street and sometimes from the bar downstairs. Wi-fi barely worked in our room, only in the corridor, the stairs and the bar.

The staff were extremely friendly & helpful and was good value for money. We even had a sea view. Breakfast, good value, and lovely freshly squeezed orange and fresh coffee.

Thw hotel was very basic and in need of redecoration, and had carpet in the bedroom. I seemed to get some flea bites and wonder if this was the cause.

Good value for money

Great value, friendly staff. Chez Betty bar nice typical French bar. Rooms a decent size for France. Only a 10 minute walk to the harbour side and restaurants. Betty was great fun to chat to. With her poor English and my poor French we had a good laugh.

It is on a main road so ask for a quiet room away from the main road.

The staff is wonderful and friendly, very relaxed. My room was typical of small european hotels for reasonable amounts. It was clean, comfortable, with an updated bath. For a short stay it was perfect and location couldnt be beat.

Personale molto simpatico, ottima accoglienza. Stanze ristrutturate ed arredate con semplicità ma molto gusto. Buona pulizia e ottimi i servizi della camera.

Molto rumuroso nonostante i doppi vetri (è quasi impossibile tenere la finestra aperta senza essere disturbati). Tavolini del bar sotto la finestra con clienti chiassosi fin dall'alba. Discutibili i materassi dei letti ( ho trascorso due giorni con mal di schiena)

La cordialità e disponibiltà. Camere ristrutturate da poco, molto carine. Posizione centrale con stazione autobus per Nizza o Montecarlo a una ventina di metri.

Manque d´ascenseur et TV dans la chambre

Egyszerű, tiszta, barátságos kis panzió. Rendkívül kedves, segítőkész személyzet. Kiváló fekvés, közel a buszmegállóhoz, csodás kilátás a tengerre. Jó közlekedési lehetőségek.
