The location is probably one of the best in Paris. I consider this to be the heart of Paris. The room was of a very nice quality and the standard generally high.
Great location, near lots of restaurants & cafés. Wonderful helpful, friendly staff. Room was spotlessly clean, lovely decor.
We are use to small hotel rooms in Paris, but this room was small. The size of a double bed , with a narrow area to walk around. If you don't mind that ,it was great for one night.
lots of outdoor cafes within 1 block; very close to the Seine; close to Metro, Sorbonne, Luxembourg Gardens, etc.
A bit noisy in the evenings from the cafes.
Staff was most helpful
Room was a bit small
Location is brilliant. Right amongst all the restaurants and attractions. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The rooms are tiny and so is the elevator, but this is typical of these small private hotels and is part of their charm. I didn't add this as a negative as we knew what to expect. If you have lots of luggage, or need lots of room, this is probably not for you. If you can put up with a tiny room, and love a quaint, charming place to stay at a reasonable cost in the heart of the Latin Quarter, this is a good choice.
Even though we expected a tiny room, our only real complaint was the lack of storage space for non-hanging clothes and limited space to store luggage. While this was a bit of an issue, we got around it and it didn't stop us from having a great time.
Breakfast is only ok and expensive best to eat out at one of the many good cafes
The hotel was well situated. It was close to everything. The room was a bit small, but clean. We were there 6 years ago, and had a slightly bigger room. Staff were helpful and courteous. WIFI was good. Very popular area.
The floor was slightly tilted and so you felt you were about to roll out of bed. The breakfast was adequate, but expensive. better to go to a nearby cafe.We would stay there again, but in a larger room.
Location Quiet Daytime staff Bathroom toiletries - good quality
Check in - I could not get the key out of my door. It had a glitch and the guy at the desk said he was too busy to help. Check in- I was not told I had to switch the heating on in the room. I woke up during the night freezing. Bed was very small, it was like a sofa bed. Curtains looked like they had not been washed in years.
The size, the room could fit a bed and that is it
the hotel area is wonderfull
the rooms are very small and the big ones are a bit overrated
The location is quite good, with small restaurants and bars surrounding. The decoration is fancy. If you can get the room on the last floor you have a small terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast with the view of red roofs of Paris.
location, decoration, bathroom, bed
the room on the ground floor does not have a proper view, it overlooks some huge container (I suppose) that hides the day light; it is also not sound proof as you can hear everyone passing by to go to breakfast or the staff discussing
I liked the area very much and the view of Notre Dame from the window
Ithought it was not very pratical lying in bed I had to get up to turn off the light when I wanted to go to sleep
Great geographical location.
The price for what you get! The tiny space room! The poor breakfast!
