The location - easy walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre and other museums and yet in a lively, but safe neighborhood. Great local restaurants nearby. The hotel provided a comfortable and romantic retreat.

I wish we could have stayed longer.

The staffs were very helpful and nice. Great location. It is situated in the middle of everything. Market, ATM, cafes, and shops are all in a few steps away.

Music was played somewhere near my room. Maybe a dance club is nearby. But I did not have trouble falling asleep. So not a big deal.

I liked the cleanliness, the staff, the decoration,the bathroom, the decoration, and the comfortable room and free wifi. It is in the heart of Paris with a good price. As I stayed aloned I felt very safe.

A delightful hotel in the very centre of the St Germain district of Paris. A beautiful luxury room with a view over the city made for a perfect weekend - walking distance to our favourite Parisian Jazz venue the Caveau De Huchette made the location even better,.

Having to leave on the Sunday!

The staff and cleanliness are superb. The location right amongst the bars and restaurants of St Germaine is extremely convenient and all the main attractions are within walking distance. Our room, although on the main road in a busy area was quiet, calm and warm. We would definitely stay there when visiting Paris in the future.

I have been to Paris many many times and this hotel is a very good hotel for the value, The staff was all excellent and helpful. I think it is the best location ever and love the neighborhood. The rooms were very nice, clean and roomy. The decoration was lovely. Most of all, the staff made you feel special, cared for and were there for every need, especially when I needed directions. Great location in St. Germain area with many great restaurants and ton of attractions in walking distance.

The rooms are small but this is typical of Paris downtown hotels.

The standard double room was too small for one person.

Location. You can walk to wonderful shopping, walk to gourmet bistros, bakeries, the Louvre, St. Michael's fountain, Notre Dame, some of the best chocolate in all Paris, and just on the edge of the Latin Quarter. Nice neighborhood. Lots of Galleries.

No coffee in our room.

Fantastic location

The room had no natural air- only noisy air con with a minimum of 16%C. The windows were locked shut- for fear of fire, so we were informed- with no key available. There was no natural light either we woke up feeling we were in a tomb- dark and airless. It was stifling and a most unpleasant experience. The room price was 185 Euros. Whilst this would normally be fine; for the quality of this very small room it was poor value and I would never stay at this hotel again in case I ended up with this room!

The rooms are not sound proofed as they advertise.

Great staff. Very nice hotel and and rooms. Povided a very good free baby cot. Staff was very helpful, even when you asked them for "hot water", and they had to close the entrance door for 5 minutes to do it.

Elevator is very small, only a small stroller and one slim parent can fit! There are 3 steps before you can access the elevator. Everything is very small, although cute = "petit".

Twin beds put together to make a queen was uncomfortable, due to shifting in the center.

The best location in the area. You can walk anywhere to see most of the city sights. Very lively area with so many local cafes and stores. Close to metro and the hotel was able to get us a taxi whenever we needed one-- and in the rain it is not always so easy. The hotel personnel was outstanding and always friendly and helpful. English not a problem at all. Free wifi was very helpful and greatly appreciated by our family. There were a few English language tv channels if that matters.

Had breakfast there only once-- there wasn't much offered and all looked store-bought and pre-made. With so many cafes available you may want to look for other places for breakfast. The standard rooms are very small- the superior doubles are much better but a lot more expensive.

Small communal space.

Extremely charming, with courteous and friendly staff.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The price was considerably higher than our previous visit, but think that was because it was high season this time. The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting all the Paris sites. Also, very close to many restaurants and St. Germain Metro. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and always "upbeat". The next time we visit Paris we will stay there again.

It is an excellent value. The location is ideal and the hotel management and staff tried to the utmost to make certain our stay was comfortable. It also is charmingly French without sacrificing any comforts. Despite the location in one of the busiest walking areas of the Left Bank, it was very quiet due to the double-insulated windows. I definitely would stay here again. (Also, there is air conditioning in the rooms and the bathroom was well-designed for the space.)

Truthfully, I have no suggestions on how it might be improved. I have stayed at other hotels in Paris (including Le Meurice) and the Hotel Le Regent is where I will stay again on my next visit.
