Le Relais De Clavières  

We arrived at this stunning location to a very warm welcome by the owner/manager who showed us to our room. The simply furnished room was very clean and bright. We enjoyed the resturant which has spectacular uninterupted views of the countryside below. The food is simple but tasty. The wines were great value and delicious.

Excellent location with very helpful attentive staff. We were the only guests at the hotel and it was quite different from anywhere we have been before but we really liked it. The most quiet hotel I have ever stayed at, just the distant clang of a goat bell and some crickets. Lovely food as well and very spacious airy restaurant.

The exterior is a bit rough looking with some building work but didnt bother us.

This hotel is great for a stopover. We were driving through France to Spain and this suited us for a one night stay. It is a little remote, 20 mins drive from the a71, but worth it, as it was cheap. We had a large room that accommodated our family of five. The facilitities in the room are basic and there is no kettle, but everything was very clean. Breakfast is optional and as it would have cost us an additional 30 euros we decided not to have it, but provided our own later on after stopping at a local shop. We did however eat in the restaurant in the evening and the food was of excellent quality and the hotel manager was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite high up in the mountains, over a kilometre, and the views are stunning.

Un couple d'hôtelier fort sympathique, disponible et très attentif à la qualité du service qu'il apporte à ses clients. Une excellente connexion wifi gratuite. Chambre simple mais propre. Hôtel situé à quelques kilomètres du village : calme absolu.

De petites difficultés non insurmontables si votre gps ne vous permet pasnd'entrer les coordonnés de l'hôtel qui se trouve à moins de 5 kilomètres après la sortie du village de Clavières.

Wij waren met 8 mannen op doorreis naar Antwerpen, na een geslaagde vakantie langs de Route van de Katharen. Wij zijn wandelaars en slapen telkens in een andere gîte of klein hotel. Wij waren zeer tevreden over het verblijf met een prachtig zicht op het dal. Als ook de keuken beviel ons en de inschikkelijkheid van de eigenaar om ons tegemoet te komen met het ontbijt vroeger op te dienen. (wij waren om 17 uur 30 op onze bestemming).

Zeer vriendelijke gastheer die gelukkig een woordje Nederlands sprak! Mooie bosrijke omgeving, wel wat ver van de A75 verwijderd (+/- 25 min.).. Maar ideaal om met het gezin nog enkele uurtjes buiten te vertoeven.. Uitstekende overnachtingsplaats op doorreis naar Spanje !! Verhouding Prijs-kwaliteit = prima !
