Location, charming old house.
Second cup of coffee not readily available.
What a lovely stay we had at La Tour Louise Guesthouse. My only regret is that we were not able to stay longer. The guesthouse is similar to a boutique hotel but even better. The owner Wil goes out of his way to make your stay as nice as it can be. The room we had was very clean, had a lovely view of the cathedral, nice size bathroom with shower. The room included a small fridge with a kettle for making tea. Breakfast was served in a nice, bright dining room overlooking a flower garden. Wil is such a nice host I hope that we can return some day to this lovely guesthouse.
Will and the location lived up to their billing. Very accommodating. Perfect little B&B.
Looking for twin beds, the standard double was a little small for the two of us.
We liked the fact that this is a beautifully maintained old townhouse of character, in an excellent location, with a family atmosphere and a warm welcome from our host Wil
The welcome and the great service for our entire stay was a great start to our trip. A perfect location to base Normandy touring. Fantastic view of the Cathedral at night. Very nice breakfast to start the day.
Welcoming and helpfulness of the staff
Everything- the location, atmosphere and particularly Will, our host, who could not have been more helpful, attentive and welcoming. This guest house is very highly recommended.
Excellent location, gorgeous room. Will, the manager, was extremely helpful and spoke good English. Would go as far as to say, one of the nicest places I've ever stayed.
Wil is a great host. His accommodation is of a high standard, breakfast delicious and plentiful. We loved Bayeaux and would not hesitate to stay at La Tour Louise again. Thank you Wil.
Loved the view, the location, cleanliness and the proprietor. Will is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area AND he spoke English, which was an asset for us. Definitely would recommend. The house is lovely.
La tour Louise is a fine place to stay to enjoy all that Bayeux has to offer. The host is most welcoming and helpful, the hotel is within easy walking distance to all the attractions of Bayeux.
Everything about this accommodation was wonderful and our experience here was very positive. The manager responded quickly to email inquiries before the trip and was very helpful and gracious during our stay. The location was superb, the room, clean, spacious, and cheerful. Breakfast was great too. A delightful place to stay.
Staff, view from room, breakfast, bath, bed
The location is excellent and Will the host has excellent advice on any matter eg restaurants, parking, tours etc.
Excellent room, bed, very welcoming host .
Absolutely delightful welcoming host ,Wil and a real lovely 200 year old house . We had a spectacular view of the cathedral from our room. The bed was very comfortable , the best tv / movie channel . Even a tea kettle in our room ! He has gone out of his way to make us comfortable & at home .
Nothing was unsatisfactory .
Great host Wil., 200 year old house great location perfect
Could not stay longer
Everything was excellent, except stairs could be a problem for persons with walking difficulties. Free parking across the road, easy access from N13, close into centre for restaurants, shops and attractions. Will, the owner, could not have been more helpful.
stairs, but not the worst we have encountered in France. Unfortunately not suitable for disabled persons.
Will is a wonderful, gracious host. Beautiful classic B&B with modern conveniences. Great location for visiting Normandy Beaches and day trip shuttle to Mont Saint Michael.
Wil is the most accommodating and helpful owner of this wonderful boutique Guesthouse in what is a beautiful regional town with so much character. Our room had a majestic view of the Notre Dame Cathedral only 4 minutes walk away. The main Street is also very close to La Tour Louise at about 8 minutes walk. The WiFi is the best you will encounter in France with Max signal strength. The breakfast is delightful and very good value. The rooms are bright and airy with plenty of room. I certainly recommend this guesthouse.**** Gary and Chris from Sydney Australia
Very quaint homely guest house run by Guillaume and his parents who are very hospitable. Right in the heart of the town with views of the cathedral from the bathroom. Well furnished with curtains being made by the mother and chairs upholstered by the father. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would highly recommend
Will, who owns and operates the guesthouse, is very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely. Beds were comfortable, soft bath towels, beautiful view of the church and the interior garden. Quiet and peaceful. In-room tv and mini fridge a plus as we wanted to watch the works cup at night. Delicious breakfast.
The only downside is that they are open for check in during a set time ie not like a big hotel where you can show up unannounced to drop off bags; however, you can request that in advance.
Great location. Wonderful host.
We were personally by the owner who is a warm and friendly person. The old premises have charm and were spotlessly clean. Great shower. Only minutes walking distance to city centre and very central for visiting WW2 beaches by car.
Nothing not to like !!!.
Wil was wonderful, negotiated a fair taxi rate for us to the port. Breakfast was wonderful, Wil recommended several restaurants to us and made a reservation at a completely wonderful place.
