All members of staff were very friendly, genuine and welcoming. The room itself was basic but functional. Being able to borrow a laptop to go online is a nice plus. It would be nice to have coffee facilities in the room. |

Recently remodeled, with new carpets and beds. Clean, with large bathroom and seperate toilet area. Friendly staff. Also, for the person that thought the curtains were too thin, on the right side of the sliding door one can find the switch for the electric shutters which when closed provide complete darkness and privacy. |

For Paris standards the room are quite spacious, the front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Around the corner is a daily fresh market where you can get fresh oysters for breakfast. The cleaning lady of the room did a rather poor job, not even cleaning used cups. |

I liked the location as well as the available internet connection which was free! The staff were really nice, spoke fair English, which was helpful! Its definitely a hotel i would go to again if i have business in Paris again! The curtains were too fair and i am not sure if people from the building next to the hotel could see me through them...rather uncomfortable when getting out of the shower |

They catered well for our young son of 2 years old. We had a cot that suited our requirements and they leant us a laptop so that we could use the wireless internet free of charge. The terrace was large and was nice in the evening. There are no English speaking channels available... so bring a book! |

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. That we were able to park the car was very helpful and we felt it was secure. The rooms were fine. The breakfat was great. It would have been nice to have stayed on a floor were the decorating had been completed. That our children were in the next room. Decorating the floor we stayed on. |

Friendly staff, efficient service, Metro steps away, Five minute walk from Train Station, very good breakfast for money, clean room. Surrounding area - While Paname Hotel Bastille is within walking distance to restaurants, train station and river, my daughter and I did not feel safe on the streets during late evening hours. |

The staff were very friendly, curteous and helpful - always willing to help with directions, etc. The location was a bit tooo far from the center... its definitely not centrally located but close to the metro. |

Good location close to Metro and walking distance for many bars, restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast. Unpleasant smell from toilet in room may help if an extractor fan was fitted or even an air freshener, everything else in room was fine. |

The hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel, it is not! I was traveling with two children and needed a crib and a bed for my 15 year old. I got a play pin for my two yr old and my 15 yr old had to sleep on the floor while my husband and I slept on side by side twin beds. Definately not a 4 star hotel! |

The hotel was close to the Metro, allowing us easy reach of all major tourist sites. The hotel website photo's are very decieving. We were expecting modern, clean and a larger room. We booked the terrace room, paying a little extra than a standard room. We never went out on the terrace once as the hotel overlooks an occupied office. This was a complete was of money. The bed was comfortable but the walls between rooms are extremely thin. The room was extremely small. The toilet was seperate from the bathroom and smelt of urine. The bathroom itself was old and dated although taps and shower head have been recently replaced. Some aspects of the room have been recently refurbished but as a whole, the room was still dated. |

I liked that it is relatively central in Paris. I loved the breakfasts - very good and plentiful. The staff was very helpful when I wanted information about Paris and they were quick to enquire about my stay - was there anything they could do etc. The room was spotless. I didn't know the air conditioning wasn't working and I didn't know there were blinds that descended from the top of the window. Also I didn't know you could open the windows. I roasted on the first night but was fine after that when the cleaning staff opened the windows. I think the front desk staff should have told me these things. |

When finished, the hotel will be modern and distinctive, with its dark colours and modern graphics. The breakfast was fine, but the layout of the foodbar needs more thought. I think its disgraceful to take in guests when half the building is being refurbished, workmen everywhere and incessant drilling. To offer a "free drink" on the patio in recompense is derisory - especially when its not even open ! The piles of carpets around the lobby was a clue that all was not well. |

The hotel staff were always helpful Due to renovation in corriders, very noisy in the week, starting very early in the morning. Should make the customer more aware of this while they are booking. The breakfast was ok, however if u werent there really early there was little left and not replaced. |

I liked the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff, they offered thier help before I could ask for something. Furthermore, the quality and quantity of the breakfast included in our order were both excellent. Every day our bed was made, the bin was emptied. The terrace provided a nice and pleasant atmosphere. |
