Very friendly and accommodating staff. Gourmet food, with a very friendly chef. Lovely hotel with a lot of character. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed a gourmet dinner and opted out of breakfast. There are two bakeries right outside the front door. I would rather have breakfast included in the price.

The attention and care of the staff. The unusual layout of the buildings. The difficulty in finding you. We thought that the hotel was in Le Lude, the town.

The hotel was easy to find and had great views of the chateau and church. We ate in the restaurant which was fantastic. Our room was very well decorated and furnished. It was quite a steep walk up lots of steps to our room, not recommended for mobility impaired ! Although friendly staff did carry luggage.

The owner and staff of this Hotel was great - Room was very modern and clean with all the amenities. In the heart of downtown and makes for great home base to access to all major chateau's in the area - The owner was very helpful and he makes you feel at home - He speaks fluent English as does most of his staff - Book a reservation and meet this interesting owner To access the room we had to do so by walking up a steep grade on the outside of the hotel that eventually lead us into the building- Once inside everything was great -

Very modern, spotlessly clean. Fantastic restaurant and staff. Very little wardrobe space, ok for 2 or 3 days but could be a problem for longer holidays. Access is via a very steep set of steps so may not be ideal for anybody who's not so mobile.

staff were very helpful and friendly. Air conditioning in rooms was efficient and quiet. Lack of sound insulation between upstairs bedrooms meant we could hear every word of what was being said next door at 2am. No lounge - also had to go outside to get to rooms and to breakfast.

Staff was very attentive towards us as well as other clients as well. Excellent restaurant - one of the best meals we had during this trip. Late check-in (as of 18:00), but when we asked if we could come earlier, they accommodated us without any problem.

The staff were superb! Cedric was so welcoming. Loved the air-con and the quaint village, with everyone carrying their baguette, like a Disney film! Close to so many chateaux, but a true sleepy French village. In August so much was shut in the village. You do need a car, although the buses were reliable.

Family rooms - these are so hard to get from bigger hotel companies - it was great to all have one room instead of having to split into two groups. The children loved the mezzanine.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was well designed and comfortable. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent. I had emailed ahead to book a table for 7 pm as we wanted to go to the gardens at Villandry for "Les nuits des mille feux" which started at 9 pm. We didn't realise until later that they had opened the restaurant early especially for us. Parking was a problem. There was some parking on the street if you could find a space. We ended up having tp park in a public car park some distance away which was quite dark. Parking is free though.

They were able to accept 3 of us in one room. Our 18 year old daughter liked the loft area for her bedroom. On street parking was easy and the breakfast was worth the 10 Euros. There is a pretty steep hill to climb up to get to the rooms.

Nice small hotel. Our room (for 4) was very clean and new (in this nice old building). The view of the castle and the church right from our room was unforgetable.

Hotel rénové récemment de bon goût. Personnel aimable.
