Hotel lies near Place Republique, where you can find a lot of restaurants, caffes, shops, etc. Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are quite small, but very nice and comfortable. From hotel you can go virtually everywhere on foot, but if you don't like walking you can take metro (just outside of hotel) which have good connections to almost all monuments, museums, etc. The breakfast served in hotel is really basic, but tastes good and it's fresh. Rooms are cleaned everyday, towels, soap and other things are replaced by new ones. Overall it's a hotel I'd chose every next time I visit Paris. It was a fine experience. Thank you! The only disadvantage I see for the hotel is that in rooms you can hear people walking in the corridor... also when someone flushes water in his toilet you can hear it too, but you can get used to it. I was just afraid that my girlfriend might wake up everytime she hears louder sounds, but she also got used to it and then slept well. |

The hotel rooms were clean but basic. Friends staying in rooms at the front said they were very noisy....ours was quiet at the back. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel but went to a market a few minutes away for better value . The reception area was very scruffy and we were not sure whether they were doing some works. The coffee machine in reception did not work. Reception staff were not very helpul in terms of booking taxis. They seemed to have links to a very exoensive taxi firm and were not flexible. |

Hotel was fantastic, really confortable bed and clean room and bathroom. Shower was really good. It is in a good location close to metro stations and nice cafes and restaurants nearby |

within walking distancel from Paris landmarks. Two subway lines less then 5 minutes away. Street his noisy with traffic, but probably typical of downtown Paris. see above and breakfast was on the steep side when you could get nicer croissant and cheese acrosss the street |

We had a nice clean recently refurbished quiet (small) ensuite room. Good breakfast - which we were not planning to have at 10 euro - but accepted a 2-for-1 offer. |

The staff was very helpful with all our requests. They went out of the way to help us. What did you do with all the Parisian? The staff was a pleasant surprise. The location is excellent for all you needs of transportation, food, shopping, etc. |

staff very helpful, spoke excellent english.Room clean and bed comfortable. Although our room on 6th floor shower worked well.Some websites said rooms small, not massive but bigger than i was expecting from reviews.Although breakfast in hotel was €10.00 it is good value, although it seemed alot of money at the time. The lift/elevator was small and slow, but worth waiting for as we had a room on the 6th floor! |

The hotel was lovely and central, the room was lovely and very clean. The staff were very friendly and couldn't be helpful. The breakfast was not worth the money. To be honest, I just didn't have enough choice to fill up on. |

The staff at the Relais du Marais were always very friendly and nice. They all had good English which was a great help. The hotel is located right beside the metro which was great for getting to where we wanted to go. Our room was located on the sixth floor and it got quite hot at night, wouldn't be very good when the weather gets better!! |

The room was updated and clean. The hotel was in a fairly central location making it easy to get around Paris I found out while staying there that the location is in the rougher part of the Marais and it was recommended not to be in or around Place du le Republique after dark. Travelling on my own - that made me nervous. |

Rooms very clean and recently refurbished. Very convenient for metro from Republique which got us conveniently around Paris and to Gard du Nord rooms were a bit small. Nothing not to like, but some of the reviews of the hotel on the website were really enthustiastic. I imagine that there are probably any number of hotels very similar within Paris, it wasn't outstanding. |

Good location - max 15min walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre or a very easy metro ride. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful during the whole of our stay. Although the room wasn't enormous, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. |
