Location and shower and cleanliness and nice staff

Tiny room and lack of bathroom privacy. See through door to bathroom and door has gaps so not really a door, it is a sliding clear incomplete panel. No place for suitcases. Very noisy in halls starting 7:30.

I booked the hotel 3 weeks in advance and paid up to 120 Euro for one night, eventhough I got first a dark room with rotten wallpaper, one place was like 40cm long, 10 cm wide. The window was at the corner of the room and face to inside that you need a light in the room even during the day. The positive thing is, I got the room finally changed.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything seemed new and remodeled.

The decor was trying to be ultra modern but in reality was cheesy and gauche. It was also teeny-tiny, but this is to be expected in Europe.

The staff always friendly. Nice and comfortable rooms. The mattress was sooo comfortable. Will stay here again

The Wifi was really good, the breakfast was nice. You could boil your own eggs in a small electric cooker.

There was some rubbish in the lounge - storage boxes for electric heaters. The cleaning ladies started cleaning very early, with a lot of noise.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location was ideal for what we wanted to do.

No tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was not included in price.

Le Relais du Marais offered a beautifully designed and comparatively spacious room that was very close to two Metro stops (though not necessarily a lot of the sites that you might want to prioritize on a Parisian vacation). The staff was warm, knowledgeable and eager to please. This is an especially good value for the money.

Friendly welcome, funky design makes the small room seem more appealing, clean tidy, nice fresh linen, comfortable bed.

Couldn't figure out how to warm up the room and there was almost no natural light as the room was second floor of 6 or 7 with the window looking in to the internal enclosed area.

Great location, very close to subway stations. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

The location was next to Temple Metro and a stone's throw from Republique. Made it very easy to get around (even though blizzards the weekend I was there). Reception staff very friendly.

I stayed two nights. I did not like my room on the first night, dull decor and peeling paper on one wall....I Requested a change for the second night and got a quirky room with coloured lighting that made it hard to see....but the large Marilyn Monroe picture was nice to wake up to....also there is no tea or coffee in the room so no refreshments after a long day touring round Paris in freezing weather.

To be a 2-star hotel it was above my expectations! Nice and friendly atmosphere, kind staff, nice rooms and good level on the breakfast - to be in Paris/France ;-)

For such a low-budget hotel, everything was just perfect! Great if you want to stay in a nice clean place in the center of Paris for low price. This hotel deserves to be a three-star hotel for sure!

Everything was great considering the price I payed. If you want something more, don't look at two-star low budget place.

It was within close range of all of the main sites and attractions that had brought us to Paris. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful when asked questions.

Rooms are very basic and small.

In Paris I always take a hotel at Republique. This is just a step from metro, very good location. I got good price through booking.com. Very kind staff at reception desk. Solid breakfast costs just 10 eur (not so expencive for Paris). Good internet conection.

I am aware that is 2* hotel in Paris, but I do not like small rooms

The room was too warm even when we switched off the heating.

I think the best feature of Le Relais du Marais was the friendly staff. I really appreciated their friendliness and helpfulness.

The toilet paper was a bit rough.

The wonderful decor of the room, stylish and with amazing lighting!

I actually arrived before my check in time and there wasn't any problem for that. People at front desk were really friendly all the time. The price is good and the place is ok. The bathroom was bigger than I expected. The room was always clean and in good conditions. The location is very good, next to to subway stations (tempe and republique). I was afraid of taking my documents and some money with me all the time so I left them at the hotel in my room and nothing happens. There is a grocery store behind the hotel so you can get water, food, etc. I will definately stay here again!

The location was good however there are not many places around for shopping or dinner. You have to take the subway to go to the main attractions.

It is stylish, cmfortable and good value.

Staff was very helpful. I liked the breakfast and for Paris it was a good price for the amount and kind of food. Location to metro was very good. The windows were sound proofing which was necessary for the street.

It was a bit further from the Marais than I thought. It was noisy outside, but once the windows were closed it was very quiet.
