The accommodion was excellant. Very peaceful location. Dinner very good but unfortunately no menu in english, the waitress did not speak any but the receptionist could advise us. Breakfast ok. The parking was away from the chalets so you could not keep an eye on your car. |

The hotel/resort was new (Summer 2009), but was already running well, thanks to an incredibly hard-working and friendly staff. We did not know exactly what to expect, having booked on line. However, we were more than happy with the well-appointed chalets, in which we had a wonderful stay for a few days. Our only regret is that we did not book for at least two weeks, as the other, mostly French, visitors had done. Next time we will stay longer. |

Richelieu is a fabulous town, well worth a visit. The chalets are clean and comfortable inside. We stayed last year soon after it opened and liked it. But only (we now realise) because it was almost empty. Now it is busy and the problems arise - crowded and disorganised breakfast - impossible to sit quietly on the "terrace" of the chalet because the design means you hear everything from the family staying above. |

Nice location with Intermarche and petrol close by for self catering needs. Liked the pool and the apartment with veranda. Would not recommend the hotel restaurant. On our last evening we dined there and the choice was pork or frog. The pork came burnt, even the boiled veg had been skewered then burnt in a frying pan. There is a nice restaurant in the square in Richelieu. |

It is an excellent place for visiting the loire valley and its castles. The apartments are great and the entire place is very nice. The wireless network can get very "crowded" and you get 2h/day of web/email only. One other thing you may not like is that you have to leave your car in the parking and carry your luggage with a trolley - 100-200m maybe. |

Pleasant countryside location near an attractive town. Unusual and interestingly designed complex of chalets, with a light, bright modern feel to them, sited around a decent-sized pool. Good facilities at a reasonable price. Every flat had its own internal and external dining area. Living room reasonably spacious. Highly competent and obliging manager. Necessities (such as soap) are not provided and the nearest shops are some way away (it would be useful to have a small shop on-site for the basics, particularly bearing in mind the chalets have kitchens and guests may want to self-cater for some meals). Some of the rubbish bins were overflowing when we stayed. The car park is not particularly close to the accommodation and although trolleys are in theory provided, none were available when we arrived. (There also happened to be a temporary problem with the swimming pool when we were there, but we were just unlucky and the staff seemed to be doing their best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.) |

It was a relaxed place to take a dog. Restaurant was good & reasonable value. Bathroom & kitchen were well designed. Construction of timber balconies meant downstairs was noisy & things could drop onto the ground floor terrace - outside table. Paths between houses not maintained well so trolleys for night arrivals very noisy. |

It was very good value for money and very clean apart from the ants which we had to useboiling water to get rid of every morning and evening.. The ants as mentioned above and also the fact you couldn't bring your car to the cottage to unpack and pack up trolleys were available but with a toddler was an added stress to staying there. |
