    Excellent location

    only the location of the hotel is good. the rooms are very dirty, the bad smell from the bathroom, no AC in the room which is very hot in summer and you cant open the balcony door because of the mosquitos. the breakfast is very expensive and I don't know how they categorise it as a 4 star hotel.

    Location is the best, uninterrupted views of the Mont. Food was reasonable standard but expensive for what you got.

    No opening window in our room, just a door to balcony. Noises from machinery all night. Rooms are tired and need a refresh.

    Excellent location. Nice rooms

    No staff on duty at night. Hard to drive to mid-day (code for the gate was not provided). Felt a little spooky.

    There is no air conditioning in rooms For two days they had a problem of electricity and no hot water in the hotel Even though they didn't say anything about it while we checked in Terrible bad attitude of staff of trying to find a solution to their problem All they said was Je suis desole.... And that was It No electricity in half of the room and no possibility of a hot shower

    Proximity to Mont St Michel.

    Price is excessive for the quality. This is at most a 3-star facility charging 4-star prices. You are paying for the proximity to Mont St Michel.

    Location is just breathtaking. Worth the price. Restaurant is also very nice with the view and decent quality of food.

    Room decoration is a bit outdated. Amenities were nice, but hair dryer was very much outdated, so i would recommend to bring your hair dryer if you are in need of it. Other than that, the view beats the price/old hair dryer.

    NOTHING

    When we arrived, we were told that there was no room available although I had booked more than nine months in advance! We were also told that we would have to pay the full price of the room because the hotel had made arrangements for us to stay somewhere else, and they had had to pay for that. The room we had reserved was 362 euros; the one they arranged for us was 122 euros and was not a nice room. Needless to say, we did not appreciate their offer. We declined the room they had arranged for us, and stayed elsewhere. Regardless we were charged on our VISA the complete amount!! VERY, VERY UNSATISFACTORY!

    The view from the well located rooms is ideal on the lighted mount by night

    It's expensive for the condition of the facility but it's still the hotel I would recommend if coming to mont st Michel because of its location

    The location! From our room and balcony we had the most perfect view of the Mont -we felt very special. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal on the half board package was lovely.

    Not very impressed with the quality or choice at breakfast time

    The location and view of the Mont Saint Michel was breathtaking from our room. The receptionist Yann was courteous and he and his colleague were interested in our experience of the hotel. The superior twin bed room large and very comfortable, with a separate bathroom and toilet and a huge wardrobe all outside an inner door from the bedroom. This was really good. Also there were two armchairs in the room, so often there is only one! The view was to die for.

    The private terrace was not usable as it was very dirty with insects and spiders webs everywhere. The dining room windows and area by the window ditto. The hot breakfast was congealed and unappetising by 8.30 and there were sausages on the floor which had not been picked up by anyone. On the second morning of our stay there was also a large fly sitting on the ham in the cold meats section! The dining room staff just did not seem to care. Consequently we did not risk an evening meal in the hotel dining room. While the reception area of the hotel was ok, the rooms and bathrooms could do with freshening up, they were a little tired and in need of refurbishment. The hotel clearly aims for the Japanese coach tour market. I cannot understand how this is a 4 star hotel and it was most certainly not value for the high cost.

    Location location location Would definitely recommend !

    American travelers would like to have WASHCLOTHS.....have been in 3 hotels & they do not supply washcloths or a bar of soap.

    View is amazing. we can see Mont Saint Michael just in front of our eyes. there is a big mirror inside the room which always shows MSM. Free shuttle to MSM every 15 min at the front of hotel. there is some shops, that we can buy foods,drinks, souvenirs, and sandwich shop closed to the hotel on foot. Hotel is very expensive , typically Japanese_like hotel, right and left guests are all Japanese.

    get a pin number to open the gate to get in restricted area for the hotel before you start to go to the hotel. It's important for not willing to stand still at the gate. Actually I did't get pin number by mail, although I texted to the hotel after I reserved hotel on Booking.com. it seems Calling by phone is better to get pin number. I used microphone of gate with service staff to tell about I reserved this hotel. After that gate were opened, and I could get into there. terrace facilities table and chairs are poor, with lots of weeds.

    The really staff is wonderful! This is the best view of Le Mont St Michel in the area. All rooms face the bay, and you can easily walk outside to catch the free shuttle or walk the causeway to the site. We were shocked by the price, but if you're here for the view, you won't be disappointed...if you can ignore the work on the causeway. Fortunately, no work over the holiday we visited.

    The hotel is getting a little shabby for 4 stars. Skip the breakfast for the cost. Don't expect a coffee maker/kettle in the room, as had read from other travelers. The bright porch light on the terrace is a real distraction, and you'll have to close your drapes at night to block out the 'spot light' effect in your room. The area is VERY high cost. Don't buy souvenirs cookies in hotel. All are at a 20% mark-up. Buy them at the grocery or road side gas station.

    It's supposed to be closest to the mont and offered the best view of it from a distance. Unfortunately the fog was so severe and we could never see beyond 20 feet. Ample of parking space outside the hotel so we didn't need to carry our luggages for a long distance. The shuttle bus carrying us to the mont just stopped outside the hotel. Though it is the second last stop we never has the problem of failing of getting onto the bus.

    Nothing except the poor visibility.
