Best Western Le Roof Vannes    

Beautiful view of the bay from balcony. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast delivered to room and enjoyed on balcony. Lovely areas for walks nearby. Highly recommended!

Quiet and secluded but not out of the way - great for walking round the inland waters of this interesting part of Brittany. Young staff in the Café adjacent to the hotel were EXCELLENT - Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues background music SUPERB!!

Access to the café restaurant was from outside the hotel - shouldn't there be more directions as main restaurant is excellent but for a change many people require a less formal atmosphere on holiday.

The fact that people staying or at conferences blocked the entrance while smoking we had to squeeze through people to gain entrance

The hotel, overall, was lovely and with one exception the staff were too. Unfortunately as we were waiting to check out, the young lady working on Reception was extremely rude - she purposely ignored us whilst she carried on counting till receipts and treated us with what appeared to be, contempt. Sadly this was our last contact with Le Roof and left us feeling very disappointed.

One Receptionist and that the beds with very hard, and thus uncomfortable.

Fantastic location,Bistro cafe good value not worth paying extra for the main restaurant, staff friendly & helpful. The only room left was overlooking the car park not unpleasant but sea view rooms look great.

The main restaurant could benefit from some background music as the atmosphere is a bit quiet.

Excellent all round, comfortable, sea view room in the perfect location on the edge of the sea in the gulf of Morbihan. Perfect for a relaxing break.

Restaurant prices high, and chef needs to learn how to dress a crab.

We liked everything about "Le Roof". The location, food, staff and rooms were excellent. The views were lovely across the water and an excellent location also for families.

One member of staff was a little surly

Location was excellent, with lovely walks along the bay into Vannes. The brasserie was very enjoyable and food of a high standard. Ideal for those who like to just walk out of the hotel and explore.

The location - surrounded by the sea. The brasserie.

The brasserie (which was good) belonged to the hotel and appeared to use the same kitchens as the restaurant but it couldn't be accessed from within the hotel! You had to walk round the outside whatever the weather! The restaurant staff were a bit snooty about the brasserie. They also seemed more concerned with preparing for functions than serving breakfast. The first morning they cleared away the buffet when we clearly hadn't finished and half an hour before the appointed time. (We complained, they apologised.)

Loved the location by the water, good views from our room. Room was spacious and so was the bathroom with good amenities. Nice balcony off our room as well, but due to inclement weather, unable to use.

Everything was good, nothing to dislike.

Location is absolutely wonderful...dinner also very good.

Very busy when we arrived, and car park full with lunchtime trade. It was 30C plus on the day that we arrived and the bedroom was stiflingly hot. For the price that we paid for a room I had expected air conditioning - which is badly needed in the bedrooms.
