Very friendly staff. We contacted with 3 different receptionists and all of them were very helpful and friendly. Also location is very good if you like to travel by foot (as we do), 5 minutes to Louvre or 1 minute to metro station. Hotel is located on nice quiet street. The quality of rooms could be higher: in corners paint is damaged, some small cracks on the wall and like that. I think price was too high, for this price you can get much better room in Berlin or Madrid, but may be this price is normal for Paris. Anyway I think this hotel is underrated.

The cleaning condition in the hotel is poor! I got mosquite bite(or some other insects?) all around my feet. I am afraid the tarpet or cover is full of small insects. Girls should be really careful if you wanna choose this hotel..... Also, the location is that good, if you are alone.....

The staff were nice and helpful, and the room was clean. Shabby equipment, poor lights, problems with the tab in the bathroom, severe problems with parking, dodgy neighbourhood (prostitutes on the street)

Location and price for the days stayed. Room cleanliness was not up to scratch. Left overs from previous occupants were not cleaned during check in. TV remote was missing and had to be fetched from reception. Room had a musty smell. Bathroom tends to get flooded as shower stall not protected well and drained.

Location. It is in walking distance to the Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame and Louvre museum (about 20 min). Metro station connecting hotel with rest of city attractions is 3 min far. Hotel is very clean and it seems newly renovated. There is possibillity to leave your bagage in hotel after check out. Location. We are comming from not-so-safe part of not-so-safe city, and we didnt feel confortable in the night. Lots of suspicious ladys are standing at every step in the whole neighborhood. Toilet in our room had paper tin sliding door instead of regular door.

It was quite clean, quiet and comfortable. There was a mini-fridge in the room and a vanity, which was nice to get ready at in the morning. I'm not quite convinced that this should be a 3 star place, but it was certainly more comfortable and clean than the last place I stayed. I would reccommend this place to other people. The location was also pretty good. It took me 10-15 minutes to walk to the Louvre and the Metro that goes to the Airport (so convenient.) Probably a 30 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Sacre Coeur, and the Moulin Rouge, but only 5 minutes to the nearest metro station that you can take to any of these places much quicker if you are public trans savey. I don't like having to leave my key at the desk when I leave. I had to do this at a hostel. This wasn't a hostel.

Hotel Le Royal Aboukir is in a great location, easy access to a market street, Montorguil, and to the Louvre Museum and other sites. The staff were helpful and courteous too. The rooms could be larger.

The hotel is undergoing improvement works. Whilst the rooms are small the bathrooms have been renovated to a high standard. The breakfast is good value for money and the hotel is well located.

The location is really convenient. The lady in the reception is really nice. It's very comfortable to stay in the hotel. The breakfast is the very traditional food in France, different kinds of bread, egg, coffee, bacon, sausage and etc. My room is single bed, it's really small. The breakfast is a bit expensive. The environment outside the hotel is not as safe as I expected.

The day desk manager was literally insulting us. The night desk manager was professional. The rooms were dirty and barely cleaned. They should inform customers before their booking that the hotel was being painted from the outside because scaffolds were all over so the workers can literally enter into the room and peak inside. The price was exhorbitant with no breakfast offered.

Only 2 things and that was location and calm. The place is a dump, going from the horrible and depressing breakfast room to the tiniest room ever seen, to poor maintenance (the lights in the corridor were working once in a while so it was quite a challenge getting the key in the door! I this is a 3 star then I would hate to see what a 1 or 2 star hotel in Paris looks like!

The hotel looks old and tired with dreadful asthetics. The staff can at best be described as surly. I travelled solo this time, but will not take my partner there. I do not know your other hotels, but this onereflects badly on your whole group

They still had rooms just week before Roland Gaross The area. Not the best part of Paris, but the closiness to the city center overcompensates it. The hotel is bit shabby, definitely not 3star.

Didn't like the location. Didn't feel particularly safe. The first front desk manager was new and didn't know much. Didn't even know the phone no. to call from rooms for reception. But he at least tried to be helpful. The other front desk manager in the morning when I was checking out was very arogant, blunt, unfriendly almost to the point of being rude. He gave me the feeling as if he was thinking what are you doing staying at my hotel. I had been in France for over 2 weeks and this was the only person I encountered like this.
