The location was very good, walking distance to a lovely restaurant filled street. And Notre Dame was about a 10-15 minute walk. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
The lift was a bit scary!! It worked but it was tiny, only 2 people will fit. Breakfast was only OK, edible but nothing special.
Good bed and good location
Lift too small... air conditioning is central you cannot manage from your own room... shower too small as well!
- Excellent location - Pleasant staff - Great value - Paris
- Poorly constructed shower, it's very hard not to flood the floor when showering. - Our room was a bit small, but great for the money and location.
Location of the hotel was good, close to metro stops, restaurants, supermarkets etc. Staff helpful, rooms well kept.
Fast WiFi Refridgerator in the room Access to public transport Good location Overall good value
Breakfasts definitely not worth the price
The location was good, you can walk to most attractions, metro stations close and helpful staff. Quite cheap neighbourhood for low budgets!
Not very clean, I think the price was quite high for what it offered. Neighbourhood seemed a little isolated with girls on the streets (!) but nothing unfortunate happened.
Location and the hotel in general
we arrived and received a warm welcome. Very helpful and informative and spoken in English which helped us with the lack of our French. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of many interesting places, including the Louvre. Lots of clothes shops for the ladies on the doorstep, and plenty of eating out choices too.
Lack of Wardrobe space, I lived out of my case. On arrival we were disappointed with the size of the room but by the end of the week we found the room to be adequate for our needs, sleeping and showers (plenty of hot water). Only 2 Teabags, 2 coffee, 2 milks and 2 sugars supplied daily, but we found a local grocery shop and purchased our own. There is a small fridge in the room which is big enough to keep milk or bottle of wine, together with mini bottles supplied by the hotel.
The staff fogot to return my passport, and brought me a big trouble.
Very good location and a excellent price. Sure I would come back
The location is great, nearby the center and metro station, yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Staff was really nice and speak good english. Room was tidy, small but thats normal for Paris.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. Tea and coffee in room. Beds comfy. Walkable to most places. Lovely street with Restaurants. Just around the corner.
The bathrooms need attention. Toilet quiet high off the ground. Rooms are small but for the mount of time that u are there its ok
Good location, close to metro, helpful staff, very clean, fair value for money....recommend to book and pay way in advance , we did and we got excellent rates, no problems.
Late check in time, 15h00, if u arrive early morning. Fair, they will keep your bags safe but you will have to wait till 15hoo to be able to refresh or rest, otherwise ok,
perfect location, friendly staff.
size of the room.
Helpful people all the time.
Compared to other hotels in Paris, it was a good price for the space. The room was clean. The location was good. The neighborhood was entertaining for people watching.
The bathroom had some mold. The shower was hard to get into. The room is really small.
location was extremelly good, within 2/3 minutes walking distance to an underground station and about 15/20 minutes walking to the Louvre and other centrally located tourist attractions. The nearby street "Rue des Petits Marcheaux" is also a very good place for a breakfast and to buy food... another great thing about this hotel was their customer service. We were there for a 2-night stay from Saturday morning at app. 10:30 to Monday evening (18:30) and seen/spoke to 4 different receptionists and they were all extremely helpful and polite. we were able to leave luggage at the hotel both before check-in and after check-out.
The hotel is quite old and in need of urgent refurbishment... from outside it looks ok... but corridors are narrow, room is very small, and pictures in website are quite deceptive since the mirror makes it look a lot bigger than it actually is... the decoration looks good in the pictures but once you get there you can see it's been there for a while... carpets weren't cleaned properly and the curtaing seem to have a blood stain on it... shower was quite narrow and you can hardly move inside it (I am not a large guy!!! 1,77cm and 70kg)... the door to the toilet is a sliding one and it nearly came off its railings... the sink got blocked... and the ceiling above shower needs repairing as you can see through it... room was quite cold when we came in, therefore, turned air con on, that was quite a bad idea, since not only it doesn't allow you to change settings from 22 degrees celsius as there was also a strange smell coming out of it... I had to turn it off within 5 minutes as I couldn't breed the air, filters might need cleaning or replacing... even though customers weren't allowed to smoke in the rooms I could smell tobacco and it was quite unpleasant... room was also quite dark and could do with improved lighting... hotel has a tiny lift which states to carry up to 3 people, however, I felt claustrophobic when I went up just with my wife and moving just one floor... didn't use it since as it was also quite slow!!! didn't request breakfast as it was charged 10 euro per person and outside the hotel there are quite a few cafes at Rue des Petits Marcheaux where I had a Parisien breakfast for betwen 7-9 euros per person... and you get a bit of fresh air and in a lucky day a bit of sun as well...
Little choice for breakfast
The home page of the website is very misleading. The room was very cramped and the bathroom was right on top of it. The room service was poor as well as misleading and the staff werent very helpful about it. The area of the hotel needs to be more explanatory on the website, to give a more realistic accuracy
Comfy beds, fresh air into rooms, helpful staff.
Clearly hear plumbing in next room, bit out of the way but priced accordingly.
It was close to everything
The room was so small we couldn't get ourselves and the bags into it. The elevator was only big enough for one person at a time. The door to the bathroom wouldn't slide shut properly and the bathroom was covered in mouldy spots. The water pressure was non existent and the water had to be run for ten mins before it became hot. The staff seemed to find everything we asked too hard to bother with except the man in the breakfast room who was extremely friendly as was the female receptionist.
Location was good. It was better to go the direction of Rue Croix des Petits Champs and then rue de Louvre. 15 minutes walk till Louvre :)
Location, cleaned room, kind staff
Room and bathroom very little
The staff are very welcoming and helpful.
The bathroom, the door did not close completely.
