The position, right on the front, is superb. Good big rooms, simply furnished. 5th floor at the front are the only rooms with balcony (if tiny), as far as I could tell. Lifts worked well. Pleasant airy bar and front terrace. The hotel suffers a little from "faded splendour" syndrome! No minibar, no room service. Seemed to be patronised mainly by the very elderly. |

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are quite tired and dated. Location and price makes up for this in my opinion. |

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location - right across the road from the beach and not far from the market and old town. It's not a young persons hotel - there are plenty of seniors there which we felt added to it's charm. It's quiet too. They supply a computer for internet access but not a printer, which is very irritating when you want to print your boarding card for the return trip. |

Superb location and very friendly staff. Great to use as a base to do lots of touristy things. The only minor thing about the room is that the shower was hand held and not attached to the wall - not a huge issue. Also the breakfast could do with a bit of revamping. |

Mr Olivier at the reception was very nice, he gave us usefull advices, The room with sea view was big, bright and clean. Though the room was very very nice, the bathroom did not match with the quality of the room, it was quite dark and the curtain was dirty. |

I was extremely disappointed with this - supposedly a 3 star hotel. I have little to commend it. For a " star hotel the facilities were very poor. There were no tissues, no bath creams, sound on the English TV didn't work, the room was extremely sparse, no refigerator, and I could go on. It was not a three star hotel. I left after one night. |

the excellent position and the relative inexpensiveness of this high level hotel can make it the best choice for your holidays. |

Hotel staff was excellent. Comfortable front patio to enjoy refreshment from hotel bar and watch the people. Conveniently located to sightseeing bus and within walking distance to train station with light luggage. Wish we would have reserved a seaside view; our alley view wasn’t very impressive. Room and Bathroom needs some updating, every thing felt old and worn-out. No coffee or hot water kettle in room. No iron, there is one available for community use, located in a dreary utility room. |

The hotel is perfectly located in a very pleasant part of Nice, across from the sea and close to old Nice. The furnishings are somewhat faded. There is no refrigerator in the room. |

Only positive thing – really cool place near the beach and old city. a lot of good places to eat. It is the most awful hotel I have ever stayed in – dirty, very old walls, crazy filling of something chemical. |

Sea views very good. Reception staff very welcoming, spoke excellent English, gave directions to local sites. Hotel requires some investment, decoration and maintenance . |

Its a simple but pleasant hotel, I had a city facing room as for me it was just to sleep in being on business. I expect the sea facing rooms have agood viewof the prom. The wireless LAN in the lobby seemed to work, but I couldn't VPN to work using it, don't know of that was the problem of my work IT a limitation of the Hotel's WiFi. |

Perfect central location at the seaside/promenade - with nice view from the room! Parking nearby. Good value for money. No internet connection in the room - only in reception. |
