That was the second time I'd stayed at this hotel. The room was excellent (not very large but very comfortable). The small kitchen was very well equipped. The staff was very friendly.

Privilodges Le Royal is a very nice hotel. Its suit rooms are very convenient for a family of four. It has a wonderful location at the very heart of the old city. The lake is less than 10 minutes walk. The staff is very nice and helpful. There are not enough parking places but it is not a big problem as there are closeby public parkings.

The hotel is in a great location and everything is a very short walk. If you show up before 4:00 on your booking day and it is between 12 and 2 the building is locked and you cannot check in outside in the automated check in because your reservation will not show up. We were early but luckily it was 1:45 and they reopened promptly at 2:00. Our room wasn't ready but we could store our luggage till it was. We had a one bedroom that was fine for the 4 of us. There was a beautiful view of the lit up bell tower of a nearby church as we laid on the sofa bed at night. Our girls took the twin beds in the bedroom but it was a comfortable sofa bed.

The location is just great. They have couple things to improve. First of all they should start responding to emails. I sent a request (via email) to reserve a parking and never got response from them. When we arrived parking was completed and they were not able to find a place for us, so we were need to use expensive parking garage on the street. I prefer at least to know about such problems ahead of time. Also I would suggest them to have better equipment in the rooms - in our room we had just one glass for wine, no caps for tea, no tea spoons. That a little bit strange for aparthotel.

Great location next to Notre Dame and a few metres from the canal- close to the cafés and the lake. Staff very helpful especially Lucien who speaks good English( he spent a year in Australia). Free internet for those without WiFi.

The location which was so convenient for the old town of Annecy.Being an apparthotel, meant we had kitchen facilities, though the breakfast was also V. good value. Everywhere was clean, smart and modern and the staff were extremely helpful. Our room was rather small, but that was our choice, based on price and was perfectly adequate for our 2 night stay. No complaints. It was our first visit to Annecy which we thought was a wonderful town. We hope to return, and would definitely stay at the Privilodges le Royal again, and would certainly recommend it to friends.

When they did us the "favour" of moving us to a more normal room after they allocated us for four nights to a prison-like room with a bed folding out of the wall. 1. Paying in advance 2. A small room with a folding bed. 3. No night tables next to the bed 4. Unpleasant staff 5. Not clean 6. Prison- like windows 7. When we asked for another room they asked for more money. 8. We had to ask constantly for small items like garbage bags, toilet paper, soap etc.

It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Could not find it!! We arrived there late, after 20:00 and even after calling before hand and asking for directions, and even having a gps we had to park and walk around city in the rain at 22:00 and then retrace our steps using streets a car could follow to get to hotel. Very frustrating!

Great location. Very nice room. Wc didn't flush. Did report this but it wasn't fixed during our stay. Although it says there is parking at the hotel this is limited to 5 spaces. Able to park in nearby carpark though. Is difficult to find

Between us we had 3 rooms, and everything about it was excellent. Very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect location in the middle of town. Short walking distance to everything. Very compact, clean and practical rooms. Lovely communal balcony for sitting out and relaxing. There were no parking spaces available, but the staff directed us to the St Claire underground Car Park, 5 minutes walk away. On their advice, we went to the car park office and arranged a 5 day ticket for total €45 which allowed us to come and go as often as we liked. Annecy is one of our longtime favourite places, and when we go back there in future, we will definitely use this Privilodge Apparthotel. Fantastic.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The room had very good facilities for preparing your own meals and was attractive, quirky and spacious. The staff were very helpful and spoke some English which made it easier for us. Its a great base for getting out into the nearby areas for walking etc. Essential to book parking which we diid and although we thought the 10 extra euros a night a bit steep, it is actually great value to have your car secure right near the centre of the old town. The sofa that folded down after the bed was put up was not very comfortable to sit on.

The format where you can self cater if you wish is very good. Touring by car for a few weeks means to get tired of restaurant food and here you can cater for yourself. The situation is very near the centre of Annecy and is ideal. It is worth advance booking the parking as it is not neasy in Annecy to park. A very good option.
