Great location -close to village of st cirq la popie -so quiet and tranquil-good central position for day tours

No eating facilities other than breakfast

Comfortable resort with friendly staff and good breakfast.

This hotel is a true gem, room was huge and well fitted, bathroom was wonderful, view was spectacular. Breakfast was excellent and varied, freshly squeezed orange juice was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to stay, we will be back for sure.

Bed was a bit hard, but I qualify this comment by saying that I often find hotel beds too hard!

My daughter and I stayed at the hotel one night -- we would have loved to stay longer! The setting was gorgeous and the room was comfortable and very attractive. I loved how the hotel supplied CDs of French music and a cd player. The views of Saint Cirq Lapopie from outside the hotel are amazing!

We looking for but no....found

We had a lovely, spacious room looking out towards the mountains/village. Beautifully clean room. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were lovely. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Highly recommend.

Super clean and sumptuous rooms in one of the most beautiful parts of France. Staff couldnt do enough for us, and they all spoke fabulous English which is just as well as my French is crap Beautiful spot and breathtaking views of St Cirq Lapopie

Seems a bit crass but a TV in the room would have been nice

We liked everything. Charming hotel, perfectly clean, everything is done in good taste, service is excellent. The view from just about anywhere in the hotel is beautiful. We had reserved for one night but decided to stay for a second night. Nearby St-Cirq-Lapopie is a beautiful village with a score of excellent restaurants.

Lack of restaurant, particularly since there are not many restaurants in the village, and Cahors is a 30 minute drive away. Poor WiFi signal in room.

The people, the peace, and a wonderful partnership with local restaurant, Le Gourmet Quercynois where we spent some amazing hours.

The location could not be better to visit Saint Cirq. At night you have a beautiful view of this wonderful and magnificent French town.

Very comfortable rooms and particularly the beds. Some rooms had wonderful views of St Cirq Lapopie. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a very efficient mini-bus to take guests to local restaurants in St Cirq itself. Excellent service.

The room was spotless, the bed linens were divine. The staff could not have been more helpful or nice. Loved having the option of being taken to and from the town to their restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and great value for money.

Sympatheticaly renovated to fit in with the medieval setting of the village but, with a modern twist!!

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, so after 9pm no hot drinks

This hotel is unique and very new, bed and breakfast only was offered but it was good and we were comfortable. The surrrounding views and countryside were amazing and this corner of France offered the opportunity of a very secluded and quiet location.

This location is off the beaten track and even our Garmin could not find the location. You need to understand maps and read a compass to find the place. The room we were given was small and the bathrooms smaller, don't book if you are on the large side. You need to be physically fit to climb all the stairs around the site. They don't offer lunch or dinner at the hotel, but they run a free minibus into the nearby town for guests; you can chose from one of their two restaurants. We chose the Bistro which provided a good vegetarian saland and excellent wine.

The setting is magical, views up to the village are like something out of a fairytale. The hotel has a very relaxed feel about it, we enjoyed a wonderful bottle of local rose wine on the terrace. There is a free mini-bus which will deliver you and pick you up from either of two local restuarants whenever you wish.

A little bit expensive for a basic room. The wifi signal was very weak, but was free, so can't complain too much ! Use of the small outdoor pool carries a charge of 27euros !!
