Hôtel Saint Germain Des Prés  

They're a beautiful old hotel with lots of Parisian charm; very helpful staff, breakfast is very good and a very good value; the location is perfect just a half block from the center of one of the best districts. Bathrooms very clean. Very nice that they let us check in early on our jet-lagged arrival - merci beaucoup!

I liked the comfy room and recently remodeled bathroom. I also enjoyed the free (for three hours) internet service. It was just right to check email.

Nice cosy Hotel near to the Metro Station, only 8 stations from Grad du Nord Thalys away. Friendly and in an old Paris Design arounded from the old french style. Great. Romms are small but nice. If you stay alone or only overnight in the rooms a grat place. The living room downstairs is a good place to sit down and to relax. The WLan is free but than with limited functions, no VPN or email or skype or video. Why? Should be free at a time of the iPad. But try the hotel, a real nice place.

Good service, friendly staff, quiet location and ideal for walking to galleries and places of interest. Also many good restaurants just minutes away.

I think some of the room could do with a refurb.

Its location is excellent.surrounded by cafes ,restaurants,shops etc.The room we had was at the back of the hotel and the room was very quiet.The rooms are all nicely furnished and have loads of character.Hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful.The location is the main attraction for us.Saint Germain has everything and if you just want to sit at a cafe and watch the world go by you couldn't be in a better place.Close to the Metro and the Batobus.

Great location for visiting all the sites in Paris. Richard, at the front desk was wonderful, more than helpful. He willing helps whenever he can. Breakfast at 10Euro is well worth it. Hotel is decorated in antique furniture, either you love it or you hate it. Don't spend much time in the room anyways, too busy site seeing. Again, great location, can walk to Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, many other sites. Check it out.

Antique furniture wasn't our style, but we spent little time in room.

Excellent location, very near to the subway, bus station, bars cafes and restaurants, only a few minutes to special locations. Silent and comfortable hotel room. Hotel room was small but not smaller then the others in Paris. Very plasent staff.

The standard and location of this hotel are fantastic. 2 minute walk from the river, Musee D'Orsay, and a metro station. Very nice area, upmarket stores and super restaurants. Hotel is clean and comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. Quiet at night. We thought breakfast was very good value at 10 Euro. Staff generally helpful and accommodating. We would go back rather than try to find somewhere else as good value and standard as this. Perfect for a city break.

Room was a bit wee, but the bathroom was lovely & well equipped. Hey, you're not in Paris to sit in a hotel room, so it doesn't really matter!

The location is in the heart of historic Paris with excellent access to restaurants, shopping and the Metro. It is a location that combines the best of romantic and historic Paris.

The air conditioning was sub par.

It is a very good hotel in a perfect central location within walking distance to many sights and shops and easy metro and bus connections. At the same, the street is reasonably quiet and there are no tourist crowds in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Lunch/dinner options are plentiful and varied. The hotel staff is very helpful. Breakfast is very adequate for the price.

The interior was a bit dark for my personal taste.
