Le Saint Laurent Hotel & Spa  

This place captured our romantic visions of a villa in the South of France, the furnishings were antique and beautiful, gardens immaculate and a wonderful place. The pool would be great in summer, we enjoyed the Jacuzzi. The owner was nice and helpful and his dog added a lovely family feel to the place- but you must like dogs. It is located in this beautiful stone village next to the town castle. So remote with only one restaurant (that wasnt open the night we were there) and a bakery was the only shops we saw in Saint Laurent Des Arbres.

For the price of the room we felt a breakfast of 19 euro each on top was excessive. We opted out of the breakfast though were sure dining in the beautiful breakfast room woudl have completed the experience. You definitley need a car as we had to drive on Country roads to Tavel for dinner. Lovely for a few day wind down and relax with great access to Chateauneuf de Pape wine region. For us any more than 2 days would blow our budget and we would have been a little lost for things to do. Lovely for those who want to escape.

There is no food available within 7 km of the hotel in the evening, so plan ahead! They say they have 'room service', but that is only for a 19 Euro breakfast. They did not bother to tell me they had a pool when checking in.

Friendly welcome. Reception desk was very kind and helpfull.Quit location. Room nice decorated and very stylisch.

Room was a bit small.

Alles was in orde, vooral de inrichting en het ontbijtbuffet waren indrukwekkend.

La décoration et l'hôtel qui est atypique

Nous ne sommes pas restes suffisamment longtemps, mais c'est un endroit tres agreable

Dit sprookjesachtig hotel spreekt reeds twee jaar tot onze verbeelding. De kamers zijn allen verschillend (jammer genoeg was onze kamer dit jaar veel kleiner dan vorig jaar) en mooi smaakvol ingericht, met veel oog voor detail. Hoe men 7 kamers plus ontvangstruimte, een keuken en een beperkte spa in een tamelijk klein gebouw krijgt, is mij nog steeds een raadsel.

Bij een vorig bezoek, werden wij aangenaam verrast door de table d'hôtes, de maaltijd was zeer lekker en in een mooie eetruuimte. Wij verheugden ons dit jaar op dezelfde service, maar we hadden geen geluk. Men zou moeten aangeven welke dagen er wel en geen eten voorzien is. Hierbij wil ik graag vermelden dat er twee alternatieve adressen in de buurt opgegeven werden: een pizzeria en een restaurant. Wij kozen voor het laatste en genoten enorm. Werkelijk een ster waard, voor een (voorlopig) meer dan correcte prijs.

De inrichting van dit oude pand was met zeer veel zorg en kennis gedaan , Het ontbijt was zeker niet Frans , in een prachtige entourage werd een dito ontbijt geserveerd. Ondanks dat er in de omschrijving stond dat er een restaurant was , bleek dat er een straat verder een alleraardigst restaurant was maar niet hoorde bij het hotel, wel belde de eigenaar van het hotel om te reserveren.

De hoogte van de juniorsuite varieerde van 2.30 m tot 1.00 meter, dat is met mijn lengte van 1.90 m niet eenvoudig te gebruiken.

Es un hotel encantador,en un pueblito precioso,nos ha gustado todo,la tranquilidad los servicios y la amabilidad ,totalmente recomendable

Very authentic French rustic charm....Juliette room was good size with privacy and areas to relax...facilities were in good shape, neat decorations...could use a few upgrades, like the carpets ..breakfasts were good and host was very helpful and spoke English...immediate area was limited in dining options but close enough to other villages and Avignon...good choice, we enjoyed our stay of 2 nights!

The carpet could have been in better shape ...
