Hotel Le Samovar  

Quality staff, family friendly feel, overall an enjoyable stay and will definitely return ;o)

Hotel is close to la daille lifts, a 5 minute walk across the road. some of the staff were really friendly, but some much less.

The rooms are small not as advertised. Family room should have a dressing room and extra toilet? Sounds nice, but haven't seen anything like that in our room. In reality, it was a small room with a tiny mezzanine accessible with a steep stair. The mezzanine is directly under the roof, all heat accumulates there. it got very hot even with heating off and window open. hotel was rather noisy, noise from traffic on the main road directly in front of hotel and also some noise from nearby rooms. restaurant is closed on tuesdays, and so is the bar. for bars after skiing there's not a lot of action in the neighborhood of the hotel (so maybe ski to the village center that day, and hangout there until dinner time on tuesday). for dinner we found the restaurant in hotel le toviere nearby pretty good. the rooms have weird room keys, like a car key. at checking you are told they are expensive "don't lose them or you pay 120 euro" and therefore you get only one key. impractical if you have a family room and share 1 key with 4 people.

Very good location and all the services. we stayed at big appartments Sanovar which looks like a challet. All the facilities were excellent

Strange thing that we need to do was inventory which consists from the 5 pages incl all the folks, spoones , all decoration, lamps etc. It was difficult to make this and really it is waste of time

This is a friendly,family run hotel in a big ressort where personal touch is apparent and not a large impersonal hotel. Nothing is too much for Madame and Monsieur - they alter their schedule to suit the needs of guests - ie providing breakfast 3/4 of an hour earlier on the saturday we left. The staff are like family.

Loved all of it. Perfect position for the skiing - just accross the road,as is ski hire shop who give Samovar guests 20% reduction. La daille is slap between Val and Tignes. The free bus comes every 15 mins so no inconvenience not being in main town - and a guaranteed good nights sleep.And food so good. We will go back!

Great location, a 2-3 min walk with ski boots on to the Finicular train or chair lifts, clean and comfortable room, friendly helpfull staff, nice bar downstaris, our other friends who were staying in another hotel we openly welcomed into the bar to join us ..... a very enjoyable stay ...

It was not as close to the centre of val d'isere as I'd have liked.

L'accueil, le personnel au petit déjeuner, la chambre. Un seul bémol, le petit dej le premier matin, mais impeccable les deux autres matins suite à notre remarque

Qualité de l'acceuil, personnel souriant, attentif et répond au mieux aux attentes des clients. Information sur toutes les possibilités de la station. Chambre grande et très propre. Accès facile au ski resort. Restaurant la vieille maison excellent.

Face aux pistes et au funival. Très ensoleillé. salle de bain chaleureuse.

Décoration triste en salle à manger. Manque de petites lumières.

La situation est parfaite à la Daille en face des remontées (télécabine+funiculaire) et de la navette. Accueil très sympathique. Bon restaurant.

Un peu de bruit tout de même. Quelques points à améliorer dans la chambre récemment créée.

L'accueil est excellent, le personnel est à l'écoute. Et les pizzas du restaurant sont délicieuses.

L'accueil très sympathique, dévoué et efficace. Dernière chambre réservée le jour même à 10 h et mise à notre disposition à 13 H. Vue sur les pistes avec balcon. Plateau boissons chaudes à disposition. Wifi. Ecran plat avec ttes les chaînes internationales. Chambre spacieuse décoration chic et montagne. Peignoirs... Situation hôtel à proximité immédiate Autocars régionnaux et navettes bus. Ainsi que Funival pour massif de Bellevarde. Et superette et divers à 50ms. Balades au pied des pistes buccoliques immédiates !

Ligging dicht bij skiliften Schoon

Gehorige kamers. Lawaai van buiten (hotel ligt aan de doorgaande weg) en ook veel geluiden uit andere kamers. De familiekamer is heel klein. Er is een kleine steile trap (of eerder een ladder met een leuning) naar de mezzanine. Eigenlijk is het meer een hoogslaper direct onder het dak. Boven was het heel heet, en de temperatuur was niet te controleren. We hebben alles geprobeerd. Eerst alle verwarming uit, daarna raam op een kier, daarna raam iets wijder. Maar het gevolg was dat het beneden ijskoud was, maar boven nog steeds zeer warm. Uiteindelijk zaten we met twee zieke kinderen, al dan niet veroorzaakt door de hitte op de hoogslaper, maar de receptioniste en hoteleigenaar waren niet bereid om daar iets aan te doen. Ze beweerden dat ze volgeboekt waren, en dus niks konden, maar toen ik ze liet zien dat er op booking.com nog kamers te boeken waren waren ze ook allerminst behulpzaam. Ik moest maar bij de dokter een brief gaan halen dat de kinderen ziek waren geworden van de hoogslaper, en dan konden ze me met een andere kamer helpen. Uiteindelijk heb ik daarom op eigen kosten een kamer bijgeboekt. Niet echt fijn, maar je moet toch iets met zieke kinderen...

le calme de l'hôtel , la propreté , l'accès aux pistes de ski et à la navette pour le centre ville .Hôtel a recommander

L 'indiscrétion de certain clients Anglais .Pas de savoir vivre rentre à 3 heures du matin et parle dans les couloirs comme en pleine journée pas de respect pour les autres clients.Le restaurant était fermé et le petit déjeuner un peu chère ,très peu de choix et le pain pas toujours frais .

La struttura molto bella e pulita.

Nonostante il periodo di altissima stagione, servizi nulli a partire dal ristorante chiuso!! Il bagno diviso in due stanze ben separate, da una parte il wc e dall'altra il resto. I prezzi assolutamente ecessivi per I servizi offerti.

Reception bei Empfang sehr, sehr unfreundlich. Bevor man begrüßt wurde kam die Receptionistin und sagte uns das wir sofort den Parkplatz verlassen sollten und 2 Minuten Zeiz hätten das Gebäck auszuladen. Parkplätze warären am Hotel vorhanden aber nicht benützbar- Gebäck sollte man auf der Bushaltestelle ausladen - darum wahrscheinlich 2 Minuten. Frühstücksraum eiskalt am morgen beim Frühstück.
