It´s a nice place to stay for a couple of days, nothing more!. Yes, they should have a different rate for some of their rooms because it can be impossible that one room for two persons with no door in the bathroom can cost the same as one that does. |

The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was basic but clean. The location for the beach and shops was excellent. We will deffinately stay there again if we go back to Biarritz. Well done Le Saphir. Perhaps an electric kettle in the rooms would be a good idea |

Good value for money hotel. Hotel staff,particularly lady on reception, very helpful. Close to beach and town centre. Proximity to town centre means there is noise at night,this is unavoidable. |

The hotel was clean. It was basic, but adequate for our needs for an overnight stay. The hotel seemed a little expensive for its type, but that's Biarritz for you. |

The staff we very friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately cleaned and comfortable as well. Great location, close to beach and any shops you may need. I guess it was fairly expensive in comparison to other destinations we had visited throughout Europe. |

It was a great location, very close to the beach, right in the centre of town. It was 11pm and my friends a I (3 of us all together) were making our way downstairs. We were laughing and joking around being a little bit loud. The receptionist/owner came out of her room and scolded us. It was fine for her to tell us we were being too loud but when we apologized she didn't accept it. I thought that was very rude. We are customers and we are also on vacation. I don't think we were really disturbing anyone and if we were we don't deserve to be treated like children getting scorned by their mother. |

It was very central, near shops and busy night life.Also very close to beach I did not like the strong smell of dampness in the hotela nd in our room. |

I loved its proximity to the old center of Biarritz and to the sea. The rooms were clean, though the carpet was a bit dingy, and the price was quite right. The carpets were a bit dingy and there was quite a bit of street noise all night, which was made difficult without air conditioning to drown out. Also, the man at the front desk was quite gruff, though not altogether rude. |

Good location, right in the middle of the action. You get your own key to the hotel front door, which was nice. Don't like waking up the hotel staff at 2am anyway. Not for those who like peace & quiet (opposite to a lively tapas bar) or have trouble walking up the stairs (no lift). |

The location was fabulous, a minute's walk to lovely bay & beach & the White Train that took you around town to get familiarise yourself. Very central to everything & for this we'd recommend but warn about no lift. Room what you'd expect for this price hotel. We were on the 3rd floor & there wasn't a lift!!! We found this extremely difficult, getting 2 heavy bags up all these stairs. Coming down not much better. Breakfast very disappointing & not worth what we paid for it. We had 6 previous breakfasts of much better value. |

The manager very friendly and accommodating Directions to car parking by assistance not very clear a map would be helpful, given the language barrier. We still await our query as to whether or not they have found our lost telephone battery charger!!! All double bedrooms not to same standard although the cost is the same. |

Convenience of being central, friendliness of staff, comfort and cleanliness. Also the opportunity to sit outside or in the salon. We would have liked hotter coffee, served in a cafetiere rather than a jug. |

The female receptionist was friendly and her English language skills were excellent. Also everywhere was spotlessly clean. The single bed in Room 15 was just awful. It felt more like sleeping in a hammock than sleeping in a bed, no doubt because the matress was so old. Also I am not too keen on having the W.C. in the same room that I am sleeping in. |

Staff were friendly and polite and the hotel was well situated close to all amenities. The rooms are in need of re-decoration and the toilet in the ensuite was almost inaccessible. |

l'accueil est particulièrement agréable et efficasse.L'hotel est situé en ville mais on accede très rapidement au bord de mer ce qui allie l'utile à l'agréable. les sanitaires (qui vont être améliorés prochainement), sont un peu petits et pas particulièrement luxueux. C'est un équipement simple. |
