We didn't like our room: it looked old and in need of freshening up. Water drained properly neither in the sink nor in the tub. There was an unpleasant smell coming up from the common toilet facilities in the basement all the way to the upper floors. The beds weren't comfortable, especially the bunk beds where the kids slept. We stayed at better 3-star hotels in Paris, Amboise, and Nice for the same price within the same two-week period, and unlike the other destinations, August isn't a high season in Les Deux Alpes.
The hotel is in a beautiful spot offering breathtaking views and is close to center of town. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The owners and staff were very helpful and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was also good, although we slept late due to jet lag and some items would not be available at the end of the breakfast time.
